Our stay at Don Carlos Marbella was nothing short of breathtaking. As travelers whose baseline standards are set by Design Hotels, The EDITION, Bulgari, and Leading Hotels of the World, we have high expectations for both aesthetic execution and service polish. Don Carlos hit that exact design band effortlessly—delivering chic, sophisticated decor and an impeccable atmosphere. But what truly set this property apart was the service, which frankly operated a tier above our usual benchmarks. As a young family traveling with our newborn, hospitality can sometimes feel transactional or rigid at luxury properties. Not here. Don Carlos went completely above and beyond for our son, providing proper bath amenities and a real, premium crib rather than a standard, collapsible pack-and-play. What truly touched us, though, was the genuine warmth from the entire team. Every single staff member took the time to talk to our baby and make him smile at every opportunity. In our extensive travels, this level of heartfelt, intuitive warmth is surprisingly rare. Special recognition goes to Emidio, whose exceptional professionalism and care embody the very best of luxury hospitality. Staff members like Emidio are the reason a property builds a stellar reputation—and they are the exact reason guests like us will return time and time again. Don Carlos is a masterpiece of design, warmth, and peerless service. We cannot wait to come back.

Enjoyable evening
We had a lovely dinner at Manero . Super Atmosphere , great service ( thanks Daniel ) . The DJ played wonderful music ( thanks Samuel ) . All in all we will come back again to enjoy the ambience .
Great tennis experience
Great experience! I recommend this for anyone who is trying to improve their game. I travelled solo from Canada and had a great time with the instructors. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Maggi at reception. Carolina, Yohan and Leandro were great coaches!
Couples Getaway
Stayed here in September on a 3 night break without children. Wow! What a fantastic hotel with such a cool vibe. It is beautifully decorated, has a great feel to it, excellent service and great food. It is better than it looks in the photos. The beach club was a favourite of ours for the daytime We had an initial issue with our room but the team went above and beyond to rectify this for us. Patrica in particular was fantastic. The only thing that disappointed was that we booked an Oasis room with a pool as it was a very special occasion and the pool - well isn’t really a pool! If we had known how small/narrow it was we wouldn’t have bothered with the extra cost of this room. The outside area of the room also did not match the standards of the hotel elsewhere. However this would not put us off returning in the future and would recommend to others.
Great Experience
Excellent hotel and facilities, great service. The hotel rectified an issue with our buggy in a very satisaftory way. Magy at the tennis centre was super friendly and helpful, always trying to find a way to make things work. Unfortunately, the bonus round in the tournament was cancelled due to lack of courts so didn't get to play as much tennis as we would have wanted. Overall, a great experience.
