Excellent Hotel, Staff and Location
Had a fabulous 9 day stay at this hotel and as we were staying for 9 nights, having read several reviews beforehand regarding relatively small wardrobes, I emailed the hotel to request a room with more wardrobe space and were delighted with the amount we got.
This is a fabulous hotel with great, happy staff and very good breakfasts with the latter being until 11.30am each day. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens so soft. The towels were not great, however. Very thin and the shower leaked into the bathroom which resulted in the floor being soaked each time. Some aspects of maintenance were not that good. The toilet seat was broken, the washing line was broken, both of which were swiftly resolved and were found that the phone in the room was dead.
Fab pool area with very comfy sunbeds and the music around the pool was not as obtrusive as I feared.
A recent review has commented that the sunbed policy was atrocious with a lack of sunbeds and I would entirely disagree with this. For the first few days when collecting towels, the attendants actually escorted you to a lounger. This stopped after a few days but we never had a problem, whatever the time of day.
Drinks were on the steep side but that goes with the territory. Already planning a return visit as the hotel is in a fabulous location. Just about 5-7 minutes walk into the stunning Old Town with lots of excellent restaurants and right on the beach where you can find more great restaurants and bars.

SUNBED GRABBING ATROCIOUS
Great location and staff. However. I would not stay here again as the sunbed reservation is ridiculous . The hotel has a policy which no one enforces. By 9am you see all the towels reserving sunbeds whilst people disappear off to breakfast. We came two year ago and the staff were so good and making sure people didn’t leave stuff on sunbeds. This made it much more relaxing and no stress about sunbeds. FOR THIS REASON I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Amàre needs to go back to standard it used to be to prevent selfish behaviour.
Best hotel
This hotel us one of the nicest I've stayed in. The location us perfect, right on the beach with just a 10 minute walk to the old town. The pool area and beach area are luxurious to say the least, service at the pool was fantastic and food was gorgeous The facilities all over the hotel were fabulous and the rooms were was spotless and very well equipped at all times.
The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice. But what stood out the most was the staff, they are are all so friendly and welcoming, they are a huge asset to the hotel.
I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely will be back

Exceptional
A group of us went to the Amare beach club as day guest, we also booked the spa party. Both experience we absolutely amazing 👏 the facilities and staff were brilliant ,nothing was too much trouble 😀 a special thanks to Sam our waiter for the day he was excellent definitely worth a visit, Caroline and friends from Cork
