Love the place first time disapointed
Been loads of times and love it but bit disapointed this time. For two week holiday onlynhad 1 bedding change 3 days into the 2 week holiday.

Disappointed in the resort and with Ramada.
We booked a week here along with other adult family members and we all had different accommodation. On arrival the info at the check in was minimal. No info on which pools we could use, we later found out our key pass didn’t work in some of the pools. No info on acquiring extra kitchen items, the kitchen was bare of anything useful, we booked self catering because we prefer to cook! No spare cupboard space to put groceries. Kitchen was not well planned out, an unnecessary large freezer and washing machine but not much else.
Air conditioning in only one bedroom made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. No info as to when the cleaner would come so didn’t know when to leave towels out.
Awful smell from downstairs toilet sink, we were told to keep the plug in!
Our view from the small balcony was hugely disappointing, no seaview, just a huge noisy crane working on the adjacent motorway. No decent garden space and our pool was some distance away, noisy and in need of modernisation. Groceries were extortionate, you definitely need to hire a car to buy your shopping.
4 nights of extremely noisy neighbours with awful music going right through the night and very thin walls. We finally complained and they were asked to leave. Sadly they decided to trash our balcony and belongings before they left. Turns out there were 5 men and there should only have been 2 staying there. They had completely trashed their own apartment too.
The beaches were not easy to reach and the restaurants on site were mediocre.
The staff on site were in fact extremely helpful and managed to move us to a different apartment. The second apartment was in a different league to the first although they were apparently both Superior Plus. The difference was incredible, bigger, outdoor garden space, large balcony, pool near by etc, we finally relaxed although by this time we were half way through our holiday.
On contacting Ramada after our holiday we found them to be most unhelpful, we felt they should have compensated us for the extremely poor accommodation on arrival and for the first half of the holiday. We had paid top price and we knew that our other family members had paid less but were in far superior apartments.
We certainly would not book with Ramada or in this resort again.
Beautiful Resort with Great Facilities, but Let Down by Recent Pool Drama
We are currently one week into our two-week holiday and overall, we are having a lovely time. Our two-bedroom apartment is incredibly spacious. While it is worth noting that only the master bedroom and the living room have air conditioning, the layout works well for us. The resort features a massive selection of pools. Being located right next to one has been a huge plus for our family. We have a child with a learning disability, and the easy, immediate access allowing her to come and go between the apartment and the water has been absolutely wonderful for her confidence and enjoyment. The food options have been a highlight of our stay so far. We had a fantastic meal at Zac’s, and the pizza takeaway on-site is delicious and highly convenient for families. Everything was perfect until a couple of days ago when we experienced two frustrating incidents at the pool. My husband and I stepped away from our sunbeds for a few moments to assist our daughter. We returned to a very aggressive lady shouting at us about "reserving beds," despite us having used them all day. Even after we calmly explained we only stepped away to help our child, she continued her hostile behavior and threatened to report us, this cause my daughter a bit of distress as she did not understand why any e would throw her towel away. It would have been completely obvious to anyone who had seen us at the pool all week that we were managing a young person with a disability. They seem to have complained to management as we now have a very officious lifeguard who is determined to make sure that this is the fun free pool. There seems to be a level of toxic entitlement from some repeat visitors here. This is a beautiful resort with top-tier facilities, and we truly want to love it. However, the management needs to be sure when they are reacting to incredibly entitled and selfish guests.
Burglary
At first all seemed ok. 2 week stay, family of 5, then start of second week, late afternoon we were burgled.. money jeweller, and bags taken. We were poolside opposite in a first floor apartment. , My daughter went up to the room to get her iPad, stayed in apartment for 15minutes, and we now know the intruder was hiding on the balcony while she was in the apartment, for some reason he left his dirty white T-shirt on daughters bed and foot prints on the bed. . All items were locked in the safe, doors into apartment were locked. No sign of forced entry. This was a Saturday and there was a lot of activity as some of apartments around ours were leaving and rooms being cleaned etc. At first staff seemed helpful, but it was clear that they had no interest. Police, no interest, we asked to see the CCTV, denied, very very poor.
Costa Del Sol experience
Beautiful resort across from the beach. Lots of UK families - English speaking which was nice as we're from the U.S. The pool was great, the suite was amazing. It would have been nice if there was an elevator as we had to haul our luggage up 17 steps. There was also not adequate parking. The train to get around was fun. Zac's restaurant was Americanized and not great, but the wait staff was wonderful. Overall a nice visit and I would stay again, but I would ask for a ground floor suite. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer combo to wash my clothes before we flew home. We only stayed one night, I wish we would have stayed at this location longer. We spent time with a lovely Scottish family and really enjoyed their company.
