In addition it is very well connected to all the main tourist attractions and leisure facilities, such as Costa Water Park. Most of our rooms have fantastic sea views and are completely refurbished. In the very heart of the Costa del Sol, the Occidental Fuengirola offers a unique experience in the perfect setting for enjoying your free time and a variety of activities. The location next to the seafront promenade, and city centre, provides easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets.The hotel has three dining areas that provide different options throughout the day. There is also a heated swimming pool perfect for taking a dip at any time of the year.

Nice hotel , good location on sea front , great beach bar directly in front of hotel , spotlessly clean , beds comfy , food good , only critic , entertainment was inside in evening when weather was anazing

Excellent hotel
Great location, excellent beach & sunbeds across the road. Hundreds of restaurants just a walking distance away. Hotel very modern and spotless.

3rd time visit to this hotel ,always had a good time, the staff in every aspect of the hotel were excellent,friendly and helpful
A nice stay just steps away from the busy sea front
We visited as a group and liked the hotel. It was a nice escape away from the sea front of Fuengorila.
Food/ drinks - Breeze bar did a fantastic Caesar salad and burrata tomato. Good priced beer and they also did sangria etc. Sometimes waiting ten mins for a baby chair so maybe they could leave some in this area to save the wait. Buffett good choice. We are there most breakfasts and evenings as easier with baby.
Pool- The pools were good although yes some people hog sunbeds, like any hotel. There were free ice creams handed out one day which was a nice touch!
Entertainment- some nights had music but it started quite late so we mostly missed it as travelling with our baby.
Rooms- kept nice and clean. Few issues with doors not closing etc but maintenance did mostly fix them. However the aircon was so loud and the toilet continuously flushed.
Lobby - no or low aircon so no where to sit and cool down. Sometimes queues at reception.
Overall a nice stay, the staff are friendly and the hotels clean. Would stay at a Barcelo/ Occidental again

Relaxing Stay
Relaxing stay at the Occidental Fuengirola, beside the beach, cental to all areas, great staff and very clean.
