This charming complex is located on a main street on the edge of Fuengirola, a cosmopolitan city on Costa del Sol. Malaga Airport is a 23-minute drive from the property and travellers will find some of the most important tourist attractions close by which are perfect for the ones who like to explore. This accommodation is the best choice for those travellers wishing to enjoy a relaxing holiday based on the freedom of self-catering. The restaurant serves local Mediterranean specialities and the stunning pool bar is ideal to enjoy a moment of relaxation while having a refreshing cocktail. The spacious rooms are decorated with warm tones that create a cosy atmosphere, they are also equipped with all the essential amenities to have a pleasant stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I kept hearing about and seeing this apartment hotel recommended, so I decided to book it. The staff had my room ready when I arrived, which was appreciated, and the room itself was a decent size.
However, I had requested a top-floor room and was instead given a room on the floor below. As a result, I could hear noise from the room above, including furniture being moved.
The internet was very slow throughout my stay and disappeared completely for a full day midweek. There was also no shampoo or conditioner provided in the room. The hairdryer was extremely outdated, and if you have curly hair, don't expect your diffuser attachment to fit.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. There was dried urine underneath the toilet seat, which was unpleasant to discover. Thankfully, I had brought toilet seat covers with me.
The room was also missing basic items such as a pen and notepad. The hotel is both dog-friendly and smoking-friendly, which may suit some guests but wasn't ideal for me, as I could smell cigarette smoke in my room.
The sofas looked well past their best, appearing worn, unclean, and sagging in the middle, suggesting they haven't been replaced for many years. I certainly wouldn't have felt comfortable sleeping on them.
On a positive note, the staff and cleaning team were always pleasant and friendly throughout my stay. I have tried it and I won't be booking again
First time staying here, wherever we go we usually stay on the beachfront, but I couldn't find anything suitable this time, so based on the reviews, we booked here for 1 week end of May half term 2 adults 2 kids 11yrs and 7yrs. So happy that we did, really liked it here, we never go back to the same accommodation, usually trying somewhere new, but can honestly say we would return here. Had a relaxing holiday. Apartments were well equipped, and clean, not cleaned everyday but that didn't bother us. We went half board, breakfast was great nice selection of cooked items and bakery items, juices, coffees and fruit etc, dinner was repetitive and not much choice, didn't cater great for my daughter with a nut allergy either, would probably only pay for the breakfast next time, hence 4 stars and not 5. Pool area was great, we went in half term and didn't ever have a problem getting a sunbed and parasol, in fact we didn't sometimes get round the pool until gone 11am and still got sunbeds on the front row of the pool which was brilliant to be able to watch the kids. Pool opened at 10.30am and closed at 6.30pm until May turned to June when it then closed at 7.30pm. Pool bar is nice, cocktails, soft drinks and ice creams, seating under umbrellas at the pool bar too which was nice to get out of the sun if needed. Restaurant does menu throughout the day, burgers, chips, pizzas etc food was good prices were as expected. Huge supermarket and shopping centre across the road, we found this really convenient. Especially as even though we were half board we still had kitchen with fridge, microwave and hob in our room. Also noticed you are able to bring shopping back to hotel in a trolley and leave the trollies to be taken back. Bus stop outside hotel. Taxi to Fuengirola beach front costs around 7euros or you can walk approx 15/20mins. Our room had a bedroom with two twin beds pushed together. And two large sofa beds in the living room. We slept well on the sofa beds. TV in bedroom and living room both had a selection of British channels, BBC, ITV, channel 4, channel 5, film 4 and CBBC Balconies don't get a lot of sun but this didn't bother us we aren't often in the room. Staff friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
Really nice hotel, we came for 7 nights as a family of 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 2. Pool was brilliant, always sunbeds available no matter what time of day. Big shopping centre a 5 minute walk away, you can push your trolleys from carrefour back to the hotel as well. Rooms were tidy although I think the floor could have been cleaner. My only issue with the hotel is things like a mini disco, I don't understand why there isn't music for the kids to get up and dance to around times like 7pm. Some of the shows started at 10:30 or 11pm which is far too late. We will come again in the future if we know that they will have things on for kids much earlier on in the night. We stayed on the top floor on the far right of the hotel. Tip regarding internet, with this room you have to connect to the wifi that says your room number. We spoke to reception 3 times about this before the 3rd one said with this room you don't connect to the main hotel wifi. Wish the first 2 people would have told us, they should really know.
We stayed in this hotel for 14 nights 3rd june to 17th june,we arrived in the evening and got checked in,we had requested a low floor but were put on the top.floor,,the first thing I noticed was the bathroom window was so high,so as my husband is taller than me he was opening it,on day 5 I was up first and was reaching up to open the window when I lost my balance and fell down and broke my wrist, which led on to me going to hospital and had to undergo surgery later that day,and had to stay overnight,I was discharged the next day and spent the next few days in the apartment recovering from surgery,,we are both pensioners, noone from management contacted us to find out if we were ok,only the cleaners,,there was a huge bath in the bathroom which was not safe, the shower had the user tap in the middle and it was hard not to hit it when showering,,(not easy after wrist surgery),
Great holiday complex with lots to do on site. Big shopping center next door is amazing with a good food court. Location is a little bit away from town centre and main strip, but for us on a family holiday that was fine. The walk in and out via the river is nice. Very easy to get in via taxi/bus/uber/bolt or a 10/15 min walk depending on your pace. The Animations team are brilliant also. Rooms very nice, clean and practical. Breakfast is decent and swimming pool/ bar areas are fantastic. Staff very nice and friendly. Would come back for sure.
