Terrible experience and we will not return.
This review applies to a dinner in the restaurant. The staff were rude, particularly an elderly blonde lady who was clearly cursing at us in Spanish. We were given almost no time to order drinks or food. The veal dish chewed like rubber and was virtually inedible, which was mentioned politely to this waitress who stormed off without reply. The mushroom pasta dish contained a watery sauce which was unpleasant. None of the staff were not interested so we paid in full and left - never to return!
Hotel room, not really an apartment
Unfortunately it was like a hotel room rather than an apartment . No adequate facilities for cooking, no worktops, nowhere to sit to eat without transporting balcony furniture indoors. Very difficult to make a meal, no knife sharp enough to cut practically anything, nowhere to put a hot pan onto. Nowhere to sit in comfort, plastic balcony furniture was the best. Staff were very polite and friendly, no complaints. On occasions the balcony was unpleasant due to smoke from the various wood burning establishments , cooking fish. Would not recommend due lack of facilities to cook and eat
Exeptional service and values for money
Large clean apartments with everything needed for wonderful stay, excellent customer service from reception to ladies who kept our apartment spotless, aging view of the beach and central to restaurants and shops. Exellent value and would definitely stay again.
Disappointed
Just got home after spending 10 nights in these apartments. We have stayed here before & enjoyed our stay except for when we arrived and was told that our rooms were ready but as we arrived before 2.30pm we had to pay 30 euros?? Needless to say we refused and went for walk & lunch and returned at 2.30. Another couple who was on same trip was also asked to pay, this holiday was with Tui The view from our apartment was facing the beach and was stunning
Great apartments!
Just back from a fantastic 3 week holiday to La Jabega apartments. We’ve visited here at least 14 times! We were so lucky to get a big corner room on the second floor. Best room we’ve had yet. Very comfortable and clean with all the facilities we needed. Home from home for us we loved it. Great location and lovely staff . Will be booking for next year very soon.
