Our fourth stay at Hotel Angela – and we’ll definitely be back!
This was our fourth time staying at Hotel Angela, and once again we had a fantastic stay. It’s great value for money, and we were really pleased to see that the food has improved since our last visit.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are always very polite and friendly, and the location is excellent.
Another plus this year was the new and improved coffee machines — a great improvement!
We also noticed that the queueing for the sunbeds has reduced, which made the pool area much more enjoyable and relaxed.
The only things we would love to see brought back are the ice-making machine and Happy Hour in the evening. Bringing back Happy Hour would encourage more guests to stay in the bar area, watch and enjoy the evening entertainment, and create an even better atmosphere.
Overall, we would definitely recommend Hotel Angela. We’ve enjoyed all four of our stays and will definitely be back again!
Had expected better.
Hotel is in a good location for the beach, bars, restaurants and shopping, easy connections to explore further afield. Room- Compact and dated, our bathroom had a walking shower, unfortunately where the bath had been taken out different tiles fitted, plenty of water for showering, hand basin water supply just a trickle. Free safe and chargeable fridge?? Housekeeping- I appreciate the staff have a short window to clean your room, not the cleanest, we enjoyed the game of guessing which towels would be missing each day, it varied so we enjoyed the game! Food- not brilliant, best offering was the omelettes station, well made and tasty if a bit small, coffee machines at breakfast very slow, short measures and frequently not working, also not available for dinner. Wine and water expensive as were all drinks. Went out to local restaurants for dinner most nights. Staff- Didn’t interact with many, end of season maybe explains why lack of enthusiasm on their part?. Returning guests? - No.

Angela is a very good hotel.
All round a very good hotel, great location stayed in 723 fab view slightly to the side, ok size room. Very quiet (except for inconsiderate guests one of the night's) Breakfast was ok, very busy, but large room for buffet. We did not eat at hotel. Staff were friendly & good. I would echo what people were saying about roof top 20eur & small miserable coctails after paying a premium price... shower tray definetly not cleaned properly. Entertainment ok, some of the artists were not putting much effort in... also getting a sparkling water after bar closed was impossible. Would i stay again absolutely yes.
Lovely hotel
Having been to the Angela i know what to expect, location excellent, staff lovely, rooms a bit basic but no issues plenty of hanging space, very clean, lovely balconies, we had one overlooking the sea and pool. Breakfast excellent evening meal ok limited choices to make up meals. The extra 20 euros to use the roof top isn't worth it, have a lovely view from the normal pool. Howver roof top bar is very pleasant to have a evening drink. I would like to say a special thank you to the reception staff for making my mam and dad 60th weddings anniversary very special.
