Totally renovated resort located on the beachfront between Marbella and Estepona. Only 10 minutes by car from Puerto Banús, 12 km from Marbella and Estepona and their beautiful seafront promenades. The airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Excellent and varied international and local dining options in the onsite restaurant and tasty drinks in the bar. Guests will love to spend a sunny day in the outdoor pool area sunbathing on a sunbed or having a refreshing swim. For younger guest, there is an area special for them. Business travellers can take advantage of the meeting rooms to host business meetings or other private events. The rooms are decorated with light tones and are equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a pleasant stay.
I’m reading a lot of the reviews on this hotel that I am currently staying in and wonder if I am actually in the same hotel. The room itself is nice apart from the drain smell everytime you enter. The sunbeds to select from around the various pools are mainly mouldy or covered in tree debris or bird mess. The beach is unappealing and the fencing to the hotel boundary is in shocking condition and debris everywhere. Cigarette ends everywhere The fire alarm outside our room is hanging off the wall and obviously been a flood somewhere as the ceiling outside our room is very damp and actually the room opposite looks Like it’s been flooded and has no door. We upgraded to a sea View which is ok but we also overlooking a broken extractor fan over the restaurant with the smell of fried food constant. I’ll add some pictures for clarity and cabbing into Marbella for some chill time that we wanted. Such a shame. Have been trying to contact on the beach who we booked with but as per the ai world Now can’t seem to contact a human So disappointing for a much needed 4 day break of relaxation that was needed
This was our first experience of an all inclusive break with our family which includes two younger kids. We arrived late at night and were welcomed, but probably missed a full run down of the facilities etc. Great choice of pools for the younger kids, the splash park was just right for our 5 and 2 year old to manage independently. The hotel really is on the beach which is great for an evening stroll, but it's rocky in the sea. The family room was a good size and the cleaners were diligent and friendly. It was great value for money, the all inclusive was a brilliant selection, my only criticism is that some of the staff were less friendly, and the drinks options were not made clear, for example what cocktails were available but on the whole we were treated well. Ice cream not included which is a shame when you have kids! There was more to the hotel and location which we weren't introduced to which was a shame - if you don't ask, you don't get! Some of the photos of the resort (OntheBeach) were not truly representative but it was not too misleading.
We had a good stay here. Yes there were a few things that we found odd for an all inclusive but overall the hotel itself made up for it.
The ice cream is not all inclusive or the snack restaurants. The drinks are OK, I sampled all the cocktails and the sangria. The queues for the drinks were not bad, considering it was in the summer holidays. The staff are all friendly and have a laugh and joke with you! I never met any staff member that was anything but welcoming. The two all inclusive restaurants are generally good, plenty of choice. I would say that sometimes the food is cold, so you have to get it when it comes out hot. I'm a vegetarian and I found plenty of options.
The location of the hotel is not near much, so we got an uber to Puerto Banus a few times and did a boat trip in Estepona. We didn't spend long in Estepona, but it looked lovely at the marina. Puerto Banus comes alive at night! We had a few great nights there. I'm not sure that I would come back to the hotel due to it's location. However, it is a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Two lovely pools, plenty of daytime activities. Loads of sun loungers! No reserving needed.
We paid around £2,000 for two adults and one child for a 4-night all-inclusive stay, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had. The hotel did not look like the pictures advertised online. In my opinion, the promotional images gave a very different impression from what we actually found when we arrived. The “all-inclusive” package also did not feel truly all-inclusive. We were charged £16 per day for parking, and there were additional charges for things we expected to be included. For example, we were asked to pay €1 for a clean beach towel each day. Otherwise, you are expected to keep and reuse the same towel provided at the beginning of your stay. I was also asked to pay extra for a frappe because apparently this was not included in the all-inclusive package. The food was probably the biggest disappointment. There was very little variety, and we found the quality extremely poor. Some of the vegetables tasted sour and did not seem fresh, to the point that we did not feel comfortable eating them.
I also explained that I have an allergy to cow’s milk and asked for soya milk, but I was told they did not have any. I found the alternatives for people with dietary requirements extremely limited, with very few suitable vegan options available. Considering the amount we paid, we expected a much better standard of food, service and facilities. The beach was also not particularly pleasant, which added to our disappointment. Overall, this holiday was extremely poor value for money. Based on our experience, I would not choose this hotel again and could not recommend it. For approximately £2,000 for only four nights, we expected a significantly higher standard.
Amira and dani were wonderful
