Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, between Puerto Banus (7 km) and Estepona (13 km), surrounded by the most prestigious golf courses in the region and at 500 m away from the beach, the complex is comfort, service, attention and warmth. The airport is about 45 minutes’ drive away. Surprisingly good hotel which is well-maintained and has everything you want.
I was pleasantly surprised on arrival at this property. Elegant mezzanine lobby area overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens & pool area was the sight which greeted me. My room (on the 1st floor) was huge with a nice balcony complete with table & chairs. The balcony overlooked the pool and outdoor bar/restaurant. The room itself features a large comfy bed (with choice of soft or firm pillows), mini fridge, coffee machine, big tv, plenty of storage, spacious bathroom, safe and fantastic - and quiet - air conditioning system. The double room was clean & immaculate on arrival and this is the first decent hotel I’ve stayed in for a while where housekeeping cleaned my room every day. I really appreciated this. They’re a super friendly team who did a superb job. In fact all the staff at the Senator Banus without exception were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet stars a wonderful lady who cooks your eggs according to your wishes. Delicious choice of dishes - as there are for lunch & dinner. Portions in the evening seem on the small side for the price you pay but the food is absolutely delicious and the waiting staff attentive & efficient. Lounging by the pool each day charged up my batteries and I returned home rested and rejuvenated. So glad I chose this hotel - it’s a gem of a place. My only niggle is that the music around the pool - although nice to listen to - continues throughout the day and evening but if you shut your balcony doors you only hear it a wee bit. That said, I will definitely be returning to this gorgeous property.

Great Hotel
Great hotel. Clean, modern, great food and drinks. You do need to get taxis due to location, but 10 minutes from most popular places. Hotel staff friendly. Would stay again. Thanks x

Fantastic stay, beautiful pool area
We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
The pool area was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Parking was also easy and convenient.
The food and drinks available by the pool were good quality and reasonably priced.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay with excellent facilities and fantastic staff
Lovely hotel with gorgeous pool area.
We have visited the Senator many times over the years but this year has been the best by far. The pool area has been improved and is now quite simply stunning, and is maintained to a very high standard.There is a pool service all day for drinks and food, which is excellent and the staff are all lovely and helpful. We had a great relaxing stay Would highly recommend.
Relax at the Senator Banus
The Senator Banus is a very comfortable and lovely place to relax. The staff are excellent and the breakfast has lots of choice. The pool area is beautifully clean and very comfortable. The pool is clean, warm and great to use. The only negative would be the location for local restaurants.
