Hotel Estepona Plaza

Had a wonderful stay recently at this hotel. My room was 405. Corner room overlooking the plaza behind the hotel and the hill beyond. The hotel staff were super nice and friendly. They have a sitting area outside to relax. And the location is unbeatable for proximity to the beach and old town. So why the 3 star rating? The bathroom spotlessly clean and well appointed had a major ventilation problem. In the morning and some times in the evenings I could smell other bathroom odors seeping in through the ventilation system. Had to keep the outside window tilted open to be able to use it in the morning. And this happened all 4 mornings I was there and even reported at the reception multiple times with no solution. This was gross and really the only big issue with my stay. Maybe I will stay there if I get a different room unless it is a problem with all bathrooms in the hotel. Would love to hear from other guests if they had any similar experience at this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay . Hotel very centrally placed within a lovely square , surrounded by a huge variety of good restaurants . Small , very modern hotel on 6 floors with a small rooftop pool on level7 .Room very nice with 3 juliet balconies opening out onto the square below. Good brekfast , replenished often with plenty of choice. Staff all very friendly & helpful and good english spoken.Decent value for money and very well located , close to the centre of Estepona and just a couple of hundred mteres from the beach across the road . Would highly recommend and would definately stay there again.

We booked a city view room on a high floor and were not disappointed. Views of the city, mountains and sea from the side.

Lovely, modern hotel that has been tastefully decorated and was very clean. Staff helpful and accommodating. There is complimentary water and beer in the fridge.

The pool area is quite small but we sat up there for a few hours and it was very pleasant.

The breakfast room is on the ground floor and is not massive but was never packed out. Good variety of food and constantly replenished by the staff.

The hotel is in a great location near to bars, restaurants and beach. The downside to this is the noise in the square at night. During the day there is a good vibe but it does get noisy at night. The music does not go on too late but voices carry from people in the bars across from the hotel. I travel everywhere with ear plugs so not a problem for me.
