Great little hotel in great location.
We booked a room with a Juliet balcony giving a view of the plaza and over the rooftops, also a side view of the sea. Perfect. Entry to room was via a key pad, great idea. The air con was excellent. Free safe. Fridge with complimentary water and beers each day, very much appreciated. Towels in bathroom were big and good quality. Comfortable bed and pillows. However, although there were bed side tables, they lacked drawers under them which would have provided really useful storage. In fact no drawers at all in the room. No full hanging space in wardrobe area, not good for dresses I’m afraid. The breakfasts had a good choice and I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and the cakes and pastries. The roof terrace had a small pool and 6 deck chairs. We always managed to grab a couple in the afternoons after exploring the very pretty old town and surrounding area. Staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for stays in the old town.

Beautiful hotel but such a shame about the building work going on next door
Hotel Estepona Plaza is a beautiful authentic Spanish style of hotel located in Plaza Ortiz in the heart of Estepona old town and a very short stroll to the beach. It is immaculately clean and is presented to a high standard in reception. The reception team & all staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a good selection of hot and cold food available from 8-11 am. Coffee & hot drinks are available free of charge throughout the day from the machine reception. Beach towels are available on request at no extra cost.
Our bedroom was exceptionally clean and serviced daily, with bottled water and cans of beer topped up at the same time.
One downside is there are no drawers in the bedroom so if you are staying for more than a couple of days clothing etc has to be stored in the wardrobe. There are no drawers on the bedside table, so again everything has to be left on the surface and cannot be stored away.
Be aware that there is building work going immediately adjacent to one side of the hotel. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel, however we were unaware of this prior to arrival. The noise from the building starts at around 8 am and goes on until around 4 pm with constant banging and drilling. We were unable to open our window in the mornings due to the noise and also had to keep the shutters pretty much closed as we didn't want several building staring right into our room as we got dressed in the morning. The windows on this side of the hotel all look out onto scaffolding and building work, which was a real disappointment.

Excellent Stay at Hotel Estepona Plaza
We stayed at Hotel Estepona Plaza for two nights as a group of five, spread across three rooms, and every one of us had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Estepona, making it easy to explore the old town, restaurants, shops, and the seafront on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay and always happy to help. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool and terrace. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring, with beautiful views across the old town and surrounding area. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of hot and cold options to suit everyone in our group. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras, including complimentary beers and water in the room fridge, along with free coffee available whenever you wanted it. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel that offers great value, excellent service, and a perfect location. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Estepona.

Wonderful Time!
Had a wonderful time here! The hotel is in a lovely location and is impeccably clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful (with recommendations, reservations, parking etc.). The included buffet breakfast is very fresh and tasty and I’d like to mention Genesis who does an amazing job organizing! We also really appreciated the included water and beer in the rooms, the free coffee and pastries available all day, and the beach towels provided by the hotel. Thank you. Would love to return!

Perfect!
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Estepona Plaza and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, but we'd especially like to mention Ruston. We looked forward to seeing him each day, he was genuinely kind, easy to talk to, and always had time for a friendly conversation. He has a great personality and really helped make our holiday feel extra special.
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Estepona and next to the beach and plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars. It was the perfect base for exploring everything the town has to offer.
Our room was also excellent. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and well looked after throughout our stay, making it a lovely place to relax after a day out.
Thank you to everyone at Hotel Estepona Plaza for such a wonderful holiday. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Estepona and hope to be back again soon.
