Exe Estepona Thalasso and Spa

I was very disappointed with my experience at EXE Estepona Thalasso & Spa. I accidentally booked the wrong month, and Booking.com showed that I had the option to change or cancel my reservation. It was a simple mistake that I hoped the hotel would help resolve.

Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and came across as rude throughout the interaction. Rather than trying to assist me in changing the dates, he focused on charging me a cancellation fee. I felt that customer service and finding a reasonable solution were not a priority.

Mistakes happen, and I understand that hotels have policies, but a little understanding and willingness to help would have made a huge difference. Instead, the whole experience was stressful and left me feeling that making extra money was more important than looking after guests.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel if you value good customer service and flexibility when genuine booking mistakes occur.

By the side of a 4 lane motorway . In the middle of no where. Atmosphere none .The bar inside of the hotel was not open at all , while we were there. Staff very helpful .Pool bar , light music , daytime food as long as there was enough staff the kitchen. Half board , breakfast , hot food luke warm, evening meal set menu Same all week except for soup , if you could call it that , pea soup , mushy peas. Most of the menu uneatable ,mush . dessert 2 cheese with ice cream was ok .could go on but I'll leave it t that . Good thing there was a Idli close by . Room was a good size ,clean , sheets and towels were changed every day. Adult only ,no we had 3 babies, during our stay . This is a good hotel for a one night stay , or a few nights to attend a wedding close by . That's what most people did . But not for an holiday, like what it was sold to us, by TUI .
