This hotel in the holiday resort of Benalmádena lies some 250 m from the sprawling, wide sandy beach and 1 km from the centre. Hotel Bali
Another great holliday in the Bali hotel... Don't read to much in the bad reviews from some folks. It's a 3 star hotel if you want a 4 or 5 star pay for them . The hotel is clean. Food was very decent. Staff friendly. The location on a hill but central for the nightlife. Restaurants and the beach. Bottom. Of the hill cheap bus service to malaga and all Costa del sol resorts. Top Of the hill a ten minute walk hibensa and bonanza squares plenty of inexpensive bars and restaurants. I highly recommend the newly opened soul lounge bar. Top of ibensa sq and a further visit to the local Spanish town a 15 minute walk to arroya del meil .. all in all a great holliday

Solo mum of 2 little ones-holidays approved!!
My first solo mum of 2 children, holiday abroad and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! Everything is on your doorstep. Beach, bars, shops and restaurants. Hotel is a little run down in some parts, yes! but you can still tell it is very looked after and very clean. Food was good! We are picky eaters and left each meal time full. Sometimes a queue at the bar, but if Adirana (sorry if spelt wrong) is on the bar, she’s ridiculously fast. As with most of the bar staff but she definitely stood out with her speediness. Room was spacious and perfect. All staff were friendly and efficient. Exceeded value for money with what’s included. We were full board and was perfect for us. Most importantly NO SUNBED craziness. We went to the pool at different times each day, some busier than others but there was always room for us! Some days we were allowed the floaties we had bought, last 2 days we weren’t allowed after being ok for 5, which was annoying as we had already bought them and used them. Should be 1 rule throughout rather than ‘it depends on who’s working’ Shows were amazing. Bingo was my little Girls favourite. Quizzes were pointless as it was the same questions, really was the fastest finger first as we all knew the answers from 2 night ago. However my daughter thought I was genius the second time we played!! Kids entertainers are fantastic! Their energy and kindness is incredible!

Food very poor.
Stayed here 3 times previously. Its cheap and cheerful and caters for all, but food this time extremely poor. Breakfasts and evening meals hot food all cold. Even came for breakfast at 7.30 opening and saussages, bacon, beans, scrambled egg all cold. Some meat questionably cooked. Evening food similar - only show cooking was hot. Extremely poor as didnt used to be like this. Room basic but clean and tidy, as was pool. Downside is no net curtain in room so lower rooms have to have blackout curtain shut when getting changed. Also no light on balcony so pitch black on a night. Sadly wont return.

Very clean, good staff Upgraded to a superior family room so very roomy, nice view good location and all in all very good only negative is the hill known as cardiac hill

Bad Experience
7 people all inclusive from 8/9/26 - 22/9/26. Desperately needs a refurb! No tea/coffee/kettle in room (could purchase at 2.5 euros per day). We went to the supermarket and purchased our own. Food was barely warm which is a health hazard. Restaurant was noisy. Reception is a shambles..... Tried to book an extra room for 2 guests who were arriving 21/9/26. 1st attempt: Girl on reception confirmed there was a room available, but couldn't pay until guests arrived! 2nd attempt: spoke to Simon who informed us you have to book online at Medplaya.com. We tried this and was given a reference number. But it turned out the payment had not gone through! Guests turned up 21/9/26 only to be told no booking had been made, there was nothing showing on the system. Asked to speak to Manager (Luis) but he was not available!. 3rd attempt: Different person on reception told us there was a room available and that we could pay by card over the counter!! Why were we not told this in the first place? Our first and last time at this hotel
