This hotel in the holiday resort of Benalmádena lies some 250 m from the sprawling, wide sandy beach and 1 km from the centre. A bus stop is located within just metres of the hotel, while scores of bars and pubs lie a short distance away, shops and restaurants as well as a nightclub are to be found in the centre of the town a mere 200 m to 400 m from the establishment. Surrounded by lush gardens, this elegant hotel is a perfect option for all those who wish to escape from hustle and bustle of the city life. The rooms are ample and well-equipped to provide a peaceful ambience in which to kick back at the end of the day. Guests may take advantage of the 2 swimming pools with integrated children's pool, bar, parasols and sun loungers. The in-house solarium is available for use by hotel guests. Sports enthusiasts may find leisure facilities in the vicinity of the establishment. The hotel runs a seasonal entertainment programme.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have recently returned form hotel Bali. The holiday was very good. Food was some of the best all inclusive we have had. Rooms basic but clean with a good shower. Staff friendly Drinks very good with a good choice The all inclusive lounge was very good with snacks and drinks Pool warm and clean Entertainment very good for children
This hotel is very outdated. It desperately needs to be modernised as I don't think anything has been updated in years. Walking along the corridor (2nd floor) The paintwork on the walls was all chipped and scuffed and the carpet is older than me. The pool areas are very busy and every morning at around 10am the queue for the breakfast was about at least 40-50 people deep. The beach area is a short walk away but the road back up to the hotel is very steep. The breakfast and dinner wasn't too bad, but beware you will almost certainly queue at peak times. I wouldn't go back to this hotel until it was modernised in some way.
Booked a last minute 6 night stay for my birthday and can honestly say I wish I had paid abit more for somewhere nicer. The hotel is in a good location for the beach/ marina but is up a small steep hill which is fine for us but may not be suitable for people with mobility issues or familys with pushchairs. The hotel itself needs a good refurb , we have stayed in 3 star hotels before which were all fine but this has got to be the worse in terms of food and cleanliness we have ever experienced. Firsty on arrival our room looked clean but when we went in the bathroom there was pubic hairs on the floor and in the bath , toilet had marks in it the only thing that stopped me asking to change rooms was the view from balcony. The corridors to the rooms are disgusting stains on carpets , smell and mould marks on the walls. I am glad we only went half board and not all inclusive as food terrible always cold, not much choice , bland and on 2nd day i swear i had food poisioning as couldnt stop throwing up. Pool on 2nd floor is always full but so much nicer than the pool / kids pool on -1 floor which is absolutly filthy , sunbeds dropping to bits , water slimy just not nice at all spent less than an hour at that pool it was vile. Toilets near reception never seem to get cleaned and in a very poor state. Spent most nights out at the marina as food so poor. Entertainment more for the spanish as mainly im spanish. Overall would not recommend to anyone as the hotel is in dire need of a good refurbishment
We had horrible experience My 9 years daughter was severely ill Vomiting for 5 days We couldn’t go any where The room was infested with ants Our holiday been ruined
Check in was quick and grand, the man was lovely and helpful. Had to wait on our room as we arrived early, got in the room after 2 so only had to wait a couple hours which was fine, all the staff mostly friendly apart from 1 man behind the bar who actually kind of scared me so I tried to avoide him lol (always looked grumpy) tall bald man.
Room was basic but was grand for what we needed, we had a beautiful view of the sea which was just perfect!!
Food wasnt for me, my husband and son made do but just same options every day mostly. Wish there was more fresh fruit like melon etc but was mostly just apples and pears. We where all-inclusive but we ended up going out for dinner 4 evenings and lunch 1 afternoon.
The hills outside the hotel yes they are 100% steep but hey ho it is what it is, once you get down its a beautiful walk along the beach.
Was able to get a space by the pool everyday after breakfast on the main floor no issues, I would advise to stay upstairs tho as the sun beds on the lower floor aren't great.
On our first day when we arrived we bought our son a floaty that looked like a surf board, it wasnt huge he is only 6 so was the length of him, he was told he wasnt allowed to use it, okay fair enough... next day everyone was jumping in like maniacs with big adult floats so I thought to myself what?? Okay so he used his and wasnt told anything, so this went on for 6 or 7 days then suddenly this little boy who was a life guard who looked about 15 years old told me he couldnt use his float, I argued and said well hes been using it for 6 or 7 days now? He said ahh ok ok then...
Comes to the 2nd last day some family gave my son a blow up jet ski which was so kind, now it wasnt massive it was just an okay size for a 6 year old to use, he wasnt jumping in like a mad man any time with it or with the other 1 he had he had the best time, Comes to OUR LAST DAY we had about 5 hours to chill around the pool and my son couldnt stop talking about the jet ski being his last day... we went down and this woman said NO NO and blew her whistle, she would NOT allow him to use it. My son was so so upset!! I was so angry and my husband and we said to the lady YOU CAN NOT HAVE 6 OR 7 DIFFERENT PEOPLE SAY YES YES THEN 1 SAY NO, THIS IS NOT FAIR!! She didnt give 2 hoots!! She pointed at the sign which isn't very noticeable to anyone really!!
Also most of the life guards like to sit on their phones the whole time!!
My advice get a big board in the middle where the life guards sits, put a picture of a floaty with a big RED X so nobody will miss it then!!
Unfortunately I dont think I would come back here again for a family holiday!! We where there 9 nights and was far too long for this hotel.
