This pleasant hotel is situated just a stone's throw from Benalmádena's Torrequebrada Beach on the Costa del Sol. It features 2 outdoor pools, 2 bars and a restaurant. Numerous boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants are found in the neighbourhood. The Torrequebrada Golf Course is next to the hotel, the Benalmádena Casino can be reached within a short walk. Málaga International Airport is only a short drive away.

Hotel Next Door Much Better than This One
Ok, standard hotel. We had a twin room, it was a good size with comfy beds, but no kettle, you could hire one for 10 euro, I don’t understand why they don’t just provide kettles in all rooms Also quite a few of the TV channels didn’t work and no drying rail on the balcony. Pool was nice, rubbish sun loungers that you can’t adjust, not very comfortable .The entertainment team round the pool were great, really friendly and enthusiastic but they need a bigger budget for activities they had very very basic equipment.
Food was not the best, like a canteen and could get very busy and noisy. Breakfast was ok but lunch and dinner, not great, the first night someone came and took our drinks order but rest of the time we had to go to the bar ourselves, we ate out most of the time. We ended up spending most of our evenings at the hotel next door, beautiful rooftop bar and good atmosphere in the bar downstairs, staff there were amazing and so attentive, sorry to say much better than the staff at Alba Beach
I would not stay here again but would highly recommend Hotel Las Arenas next door.

Not great hotel
Just stayed at the alba beach ,good points maids are 5 star rooms cleaned every day they do a great job .bad points food not good I know hotels have to cater for all nationalities, this is for the Spanish not much choice in our opinion we did have breakfast and that was ok, but evening meal not good walked in and most nights walked out straight away .and ate out ,the pool area isn’t very clean never once so them clean around the outside of the pool once of the 7 days we were their as we over looked the pool ,no umbrellas around the pool only around the garden area .which when you have children you need shade around the pool ,sun beds have seen better days ,the way out of hotel is so grim backs onto restaurants and you have to pass there waist bins and they smell is awful .the hotel is near the beach and bars and restaurants which is good .i would say this is a Spanish hotel as 95% are Spanish staying in the hotel .and they are given preference at the bar and in restaurants .this is my opinion I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as there is better quality hotels and they are 3 stars as-well as the alba beach but much nicer .

Brilliant location
Really nice hotel and brilliantly located Went with jet2 and I emailed hotel to request a low floor as I have mobility problems. We were in room 105 which is a disabled room next to a lift which was Very convenient. staff were lovely and hotel was very clean. Wouldn’t hesitate at returning which we hope to do in October. 7 euros in taxi to arroyo and 12 euros to Torremolinos There are a few bars/restaurants close to hotel

A nice stay.
Great location, close to a wide variety of bars restaurant etc. Mcdonalds right outside the front door. 20 min walk to marina. A basic hotel but does have everything one needs. Pool is lovely and clean. Being honest the sun loungers are quite uncomfortable and there is a major shortage of umbrellas for shade. I believe this should be looked at by the hotel. Variety of food available. We had breakfast and lunch. Pastries, fruit, pastas, fish, pizza, meatballs, chicken etc etc. Not really a young person's hotel, we found the majority of guests were more mature couples which suited us. No screaming kids and no fighting for sunbeds. I think I would return to this hotel.
Ok hotel shame about the amount of smoking
Location close to nice pubs and restaurants. Room was ok overlooked pool which doesn’t open until 11am really odd time. Sun beds awful didn’t have back rests, never struggled to get one! Bed and breakfast can’t comment on other food. Breakfast was ok! My main problem was the smoking people had no consideration what’s so ever. Ash trays every table and no designated area! Found this terrible people even did it on their balcony so traveled into your room. Prob will not return due to this
