Just about 15 minutes’ drive away from Malaga Airport, this elegant and cosy hotel lies only 100 metres from the splendid sandy beach of Costa del Sol, but still offers a beautifully tended outdoor area with a swimming pool for those vacationers who prefer freshwater. Families with small kids will appreciate the children's swimming area, while sports enthusiasts can play a game of squash or tennis or go on a biking trip. For a relaxing moment, guests can visit to the on-site bar and have refreshing drink before dinner in the restaurant. The spacious rooms are elegantly decorated with light and soothing colours to create a comfortable atmosphere. They are well equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a pleasant and memorable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our favourite hotel , the staff, excellent cuisine and rooms are all that we needed for this our 9 th visit.
This was our 4th visit. We keep going back due to the location, the staff, the food all being good. It is a quiet hotel at this time, mostly mature ages. Entertainment every night for a quiet drink. There are pubs and restaurants close by for a different evening. No rush for sunbeds, breakfast first then guests wander down for the day. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Towels provided for the pool, a deposit for the safe key. Bring Mosquito repellent for this resort, bites are common. We are returning next year for No5
The hotel is clean, a little dated, all staff are lovely and friendly. Food in the main restaurant was not great, drinks machines and toasters kept breaking. Good selection of food for breakfast, but the hot food was not to our taste (cheap tasting and not cooked well enough). We tried an evening meal once but it was awful and very poor choice of food. Pool area and decking is excellent. We had no issues getting sun loungers each day, although as it got busier, this was more difficult. No daytime entertainment programme or anything like that. Evening entertainment was not great, but fine for us as we went out every night. Drinks in the hotel are expensive and not a great selection. Pool bar food was lovely and reasonably priced. The spa was lovely but very expensive for treatments. Overall, this hotel seems more suited to older people (65+). The staff are what make it, they are all so lovely and work very hard, hence the 4 stars.
Still here, day 2. Nice hotel, very clean, 30 mins from the airport. Arrived late, and they left us a lovely meal in the dining room, lovely touch. Just back from the spa, its a tad basic, but has pool, sauna, steam room, so not too bad, also do treatments. Pool bar is pricy, 11 euros for a pint and a juice, there are lots of mini markets very close though 😉. Only downside, waiting up to see England thrash Mexico, not a great nights sleep, and woke up at 6.45 by the cleaning ladies, in the main courtyard yapping away. By no means the end of the world. Staff are nice, overall very quiet hotel as its off the main roads, food is a bit on the basic side, but adequate, overall 8 out of 10.
Our 2nd stay at this hotel. Went with my elderly mother. We put in a request regarding the room and this was met in every way. The staff in every part of the hotel are exceptional. The entertainment was mostly great. The breakfast is exceptional. We had evening meal at the hotel, we found the fish sometimes was undercooked for our liking but we always found something to eat. An improvement in the restaurant is the removal of the two sittings. A great addition is the pool entertainment of the violinist and the saxophone player. As a returning guest we had delivered to our room a selection of small cakes which was a lovely gesture and was really appreciated. I used the spa most days and had a lovely relaxing massage near the end of my holiday. A lovely time was had by us both and we will be back next year for our 3rd visit.
