Great location near to marina and beaches. Main areas clean and comfortable, but bedroom and bathroom very small. We got our first room swapped ,as it faced the building site... ...drills and hammers at 7.30am. Not great when full price paid. Breakfast very good, but, quality of meat at evening buffet really poor. Staff in dining room not the most pleasant. Really rude young waitress, with awful attitude to guests. Always long queues to get served at bar. Hotel felt a bit regimental. Pool area not the cleanest. Other holiday operators class this hotel as a 3.5 stars. That is optimistic, as it really should be a 3 star hotel. Could be a fab hotel if given some care and attention. Lovely area, but would not return to this hotel nor recommend.

Lovely Stay at Hotel Palmasol
Currently staying at Hotel Palmasol (room 351). The location of the hotel is great, very near the marina, especially if you go out of the back gate through the garden. There is a supermarket across the road at the marina and another one at the top of the road in the opposite direction, near the bus stops on the main road. Our room is a good size, with enough storage and the balcony is overlooking the garden and a partial sea view. The staff that we have encountered have all been friendly and polite, especially the lady who cleans our room. The breakfast is great, with plenty of choice and something to suit everyone's taste, we have only had breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on other meals. The hotel was recommended to us by my brother-in-law, who has stayed here several times and we are very pleased that he suggested the hotel and would happily stay again. There are tea/coffee making facilities and small fridge in the room and the included aircon has been an absolute godsend in the hot weather.
Another great stay
We have had another excellent stay at the Palmasol! We stayed AI for 10 days. The rooms are spotless and the housekeeping staff do a great job throughout the hotel. There is always someone cleaning. We had a pool view and the views are amazing looking out to sea. The food is great with plenty of choice and something for everyone. The location is excellent, just across from the beautiful marina where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff at this hotel cannot do enough for you. ALL of them are brilliant and we cannot wait to go back!! Thank you for a lovely stay and thank you to all the staff!!

Nice mini break - good experience.
Just returned from a mini break with wife. Had a good experience. We were facing the building site so no view, but no noise until 8am and wasn't too loud so didn't really bother us, Excellent system of wristband room key, which also gives access to the gate facing the marina for a short cut to and from marina / beach. Room was fine, cleaned and fresh towels daily, fridge plus kettle etc. Highly recommend breakfast on the terrace, have to book with reception day before. We did this every day as so chilled, didn't use indoor restaurant. Great choice of fruits, cold meats, breads, cakes, and also usual cooked options with omelettes cooked to order. Only issue was people using the beans utensils to get other foods, a pain if you have beans!! Not the hotels fault though just laziness by guests. Real fruit juices, teas coffees and a bottle of bubbly every morning on ice for self service! We were mainly out all day then night, but used pool a couple of times as open until 7.30pm. Plenty of beds especially on grassed areas.
Easy jet transfer was a minimum wait for 45 mins for bus, plus hour transfer, so we got the train from airport €2.70 each and a taxi from Arroyo to hotel for €8 very easy. Reception staff very helpful at all times. Bar was great for a nightcap - card payment. No problem returning to this hotel in future, price was great and location fantastic. Cheers 🍻

Works in progress
Arrived at the hotel 12th September on a arrival noticed work going on across the road. Sunday morning nice and quiet then came Monday morning bang bang bang work men starting there day. Julia our rep moved us to a room away from the work and showed us on the booking site that it does state works in progress across from hotel but this is in small print and I think it should be highlighted to draw attention to has we would not have booked the hotel. So my advice to anyone booking always check small print, terms and conditions.
