Several people got ill including me from sickness and the other .. The hotel is clean so putting it down to the food which made us all really suspicious what to eat. Shame as the location and the sea views are stunning.

Beautiful hotel, lovely views. Everyone still gets sick here . My 80 year old mum had bad D&V and so did I. Most people I spoke to also had it. Needs investigation into it more. Very strange so many people still complain of this three years on??? Spoiled the holiday unfortunately. Most staff nice enough others just not keen on tourists . Especially the grumpy lady down at the spa giving out towels. Very bad attitude with many guests, No more Spain for me any time soon. In saying that hotel was clean and cleaners amazing.
Great times at Best Benalmadena
Great location, rooms were clean, with sea views. Food was very good, staff were really friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Shame
We booked this last year and looking forward to it. Pros - Large spacious rooms, cleaned daily. Good selection of drinks on offer - we were all inclusive. Very generous measures and named spirits. Evening entertainment was enjoyable. Con- We were 2couples who travel together regularly. We all got sick with D&V / Norovirus after the first day. We all ate different food. There is an obvious problem with this hotel. We didn’t see all the comments on D&V before we came & listening to others in the bar, round the pool, in the restaurant it would seem around 80-90% of people have been or were ill. Restaurant food quality is poor, more like 2 star. Undercooked and cold dishes left under low heated lights. Same dishes every day almost. We informed hotel reception and asked for a deep clean on our bedrooms which they did and they also rang us later to see how we were.
We tried to not let it stop our enjoyment of the resort an d although we were all inclusive we ate out for all our meals afterward
In summary, nice hotel and spacious rooms. Poor quality food and ongoing issues with diahorrea and vomiting 🤮 / Norovirus continues to blight this hotel. Would we stay here again NO.
