This wonderful hotel is located just 5 minutes' walk from the beach in Benalmádena. Malaga Airport is conveniently close since it is just about 15 minutes’ drive from the property. The resort offers a gym and a spa with a range of treatments for guest relaxation. The marvellous outdoor pool area is the perfect scenery where to spend a nice and sunny evening sunbathing, resting under an umbrella or having a refreshing swim surrounded by a wonderful atmosphere. The property offers delicious food options and drinking alternatives. The rooms are decorated with soothing colours that create a comfortable and welcoming feeling. We're do i start,as we booked in we was shown a piece of laminate paper with entertainment on, rooms are dated and tired. cockerroaches in room and the food is awful. The pool has broken tiles on the floor so wear pool shoes and the snack bar food is warm. so disappointed as it was my grandsons holiday which wasn't cheap glad I've only booked 5 days
not just a holiday…
I visited the resort with my husband and 2 children (7 & 13) and we stayed at the Polynesia hotel…
we have absolutely fallen in love and cannot wait to return, we are just about to leave the hotel to go home and are already looking at flights to come back next summer.
the staff, the rooms, the food & facilities are all spectacular;
the rooms are clean and they work really hard to ensure high standards of comfort and cleanliness, my youngest also loved the ‘care’ they gave to his bear Ellie.
there is a really good selection of foods for all meals and the variety was good, i am a fussy eater and managed to find more than enough things for me to eat, as did my children. as standard there was always chips/pastas/burgers for super fussy eaters too.
the beach club is excellent too and my children were entertained for hours.
entertainment for both night and day are not in short supply and is good fun.
my youngest wanted to visit the kids club and the staff there were so lovely too; he didn’t want to do all the activities and they were more than understanding and the fact that you can sign in and out of the club as many times as you want is fab.
my heart is sad that we have to leave, but i am excited to return and make more beautiful memories!
it is not just a hotel or a resort, it is a complete experience and i cannot fault it at all…thank you Holiday World Resort x x
Not open in December
We booked this hotel for Christmas but we thought something was off as it seemed the outside was closed. We booked through a travel agent online. I queried it with them and they just suggested to book another hotel. They never said why but we saw on Facebook a few weeks after that the hotel was closed from 10th December.. Good thing we had instincts but even the travel agent never told us it was closed should not have allowed to have been booked at all. Other people might not be as cautious as we were.
Very good short stay , clean tidy hotel , very enjoyable
An excellent hotel especially for kids , lovely pools and play areas , nice staff and decent plentiful food . Snack bar was also excellent

Although pricey, this hotel was fab for families.
Plenty of choice for the kids, constant entertainment throughout the day and interactive activities for all.
A couple of restaurants you can use inside which was nice as a break from AI buffet. Food there was fine, lots of choice and we loved that they allocate you a table rather than you having to search for one.
The beach is 10 mins walk away, the hotel is quieter a way out from the main areas but it's not bothered us and cost us €12 in a taxi to the marina.
The entertainers were brilliant. Fabulous with the kids, especially Sam! He went out of his way to help our little girl settle in - thank you Sam 🤍
A few areas of the hotel could be improved for upkeep but this hasn't at all spoiled a thing and we'd definitely revisit .
The beach club over the road is a great addition and the kids loved it. You do need to hire the rubber rings though, due to people taking them to the beach so take € or a card with you.
