Located in Benalmadena, in a residential area just 200 m from the beach and Malaga Airport is about 8 km away. This hotel is 2 km from the city centre and its many shops and entertainment areas while the stunning Marina City is only 1 km away. The hotel offers a cosy bar, a souvenir shop, a TV room and a restaurant. The hotel also offers laundry service and the younger guests will be entertained at the kids' club and playground. The hotel boasts a water park, with a lake pool and water games for children. For the younger ones there are two animal-shaped pools, a shark and sea serpent, a mushroom-shaped shower and a tower with two water slides and a splash bucket that will make for an exciting holiday.
The most amazing kids club and staff. So grateful for the service and kindness from this hotel. Highly recommend, trustworthy and fun. Both children enjoyed. Thank you for your kindness!
Honest Review
Hotel is in a really good location nice 2 minute walk to the beach which has a lot of restaurants and shops along the way. 15/20minute walk to the marina where it is full of really nice restaurants to eat.
McDonald’s is a 5 minute walk and Burger King also a 5 minute walk for anyone wanting to eat those.
We stayed half board what I did find really good about this hotel is that instead of half board being breakfast and evening meal they actually have you the option every day if you wanted to have dinner or evening meal so some days we would have breakfast then do down for a midday snack and go out to the local restaurant for a nice evening meal or sometimes we would have the evening meal in the hotel.
Food itself was what you expect from hotels in general a lot of pork but does have a good selection of food pizza chips pork rice pasta selections of meats fruit and cakes. Breakfast was what you would expect bacon eggs sausage meats cheese fruit they cooked pancakes and omelettes and had a selection of pastries. Overall I think the food was fine and no issues with it at all.
So I travelled with two children one being 4 months old that still needs milk and sterilised bottles we took sterilising bags to do in the microwave which we was able to use in the hotel restaurant no issues there my issue is that none of the rooms come with a kettle to make hot water to make the babies bottles you have to rent this from reception for around €5 a day which I was not a fan off. I do think if you don’t want to supply guest with a kettle that’s fine but for families with a child under 2 you should allow them to have one for bottle making purposes. My wife and myself do not drink tea or coffee so it was not for our benefit we needed a kettle just for the baby to have a bottle through the night etc.
We rented an iron from reception for a day that was cheaper than the kettle again I don’t mind renting the iron that is fine as it was for our benefit.
Staff was friendly and life guards did their job constantly watching the pools. This hotel has 4 pools there is a normal pool that has a slightly shallow bit but then goes really deep this is where they do waterpolo and other games and next to this is a shallower kids pool.
They then have the shallow end of the splash park the bit you see the pirate ship slides in all the photos this is really good for kids and my daughter had a lot of fun here. Then there is the bigger pool that has the bigger water slides in again and then had a lot of fun on them no issues with the water park the only down fall is that the water park side only opens at 10 and people start queuing from stupid times so we did struggle to get any beds around that way. We for the other two pools we easily got beds around them.
There was entertainment of a night Mini disco and some other entertainment we didn’t stay for this as we went out to the local bars.
I do think this hotel is good to stay in it was clean and friendly and I would stay again for the right price. Our stay overall was good I was give it a 4 star rating the only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 star was due to no kettle for the baby and the massive queues to get a sunbed.
Great family friendly hotel room basic but clean , only downside is the queues for everything and I mean everything!
Best bits , water slides , pool views and child safe. Games room for kids especially teenagers . Water game for kids the floating mat run . Fridge in rooms , hand soap, shower gel and hairdryer. We could always find something to eat on the all inclusive and San Miguel being the main lager. Bottle lagers like Heineken you pay for but only a few euro.
The same with branded ice cream but to be honest I think that’s the norm. Kids get ice pops free on AI
Improvements clean the Astro Turf around the edge of the hotel sun lounger area . The other areas of the pool are hosed down daily but not this area . Open the pools earlier than 10am , some kids are up at 6am and it’s not ideal waiting around until 10 . Ridiculous queues for the pool from as early as 9 am to get the prime spots 😄 . If you are early morning return flight you’ll not get breakfast as the resultant doesn’t open till 8 am which is a bit unfair . The Bar coffee machine could at least be switched on so that you could get a take away coffee before coach pick up .
Highly recommend the Benalmádena Cable car worth every penny €24 a great morning out , the views are stunning! Also go to the local train station and get the train to Malaga City for €6 return , we got uber to the station for about €14 if your fit you could walk to station.
Would recommend the hotel without a doubt if you have kids , we went with family and loved the slides. If you don’t want happy , screaming kids , go elsewhere ! 😄😄
We’ve had the best week! The kids and adults were happy and relaxed joined the que at 9 for sun beds always got a bed where we would like, slides and pools are a huge plus for this hotel! food variety was good we have seriously very fussy eaters in our group and everyone had something the pudding had so much variety with themed nights and chocolate fountain! We were excited to see what was on offer each day! Pools, games , adult activities and kids club all fabulous with plenty to do if you fancy, we have a variety age group 18 year old and 10 & 5 year all were entertained and happy, workers/ staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are fairly sized we sleep in it so not much need for massive space, beds were comfy and rooms are clean with daily freshen up and noticeable clean, cleaners work hard for sure. There is ques snack bar especially when it opens but they work so hard to clear it but we just either joined the queue or waited till around 2 and it was dead, We’ve really enjoyed every part of this holiday it’s what we expected and more. The holiday is really what you make it, we’ve done a few things off site and then come back for snacks and lunch and again always able to find a sun bed. We will be back :)
Just got back from a weeks stay as a family with a 5 year old. Pros......check in was a breeze with great staff, everything explained, bands on for the all inclusive and given the room keys and told what floor.staff really are nice. First impression room basic but clean with everything you need as we didnt plan spending much time in there other than sleep and shower.Air con was really cold. Grandson absolutely loved the pools and slides they really do work well for guests. Big choice of food, how some of these reviews say it was the same thing everyday must have just looked at the toppings on the pizza and the chips.there are different things every night and had some great varied meals, the beef cheeks were really good.yes there is pasta and rice and a potato variation but isnt that what you have with a meal!! Lad enjoyed the kids club a few times, really good entertainment for the youngsters he loved it and the staff are great. Evening mini disco he loved and varied things on if you wanted to stay in the hotel every night for entertainment but we like to have a look around aswell.
Cons.....sunbeds,if you want a sunbed on the edge of the pool, join the looney queue from 8 till 9 at the door.then the door opens to the path to the pool.then they queue from 9 till 10 till the gates open to the pool.what a great way to start ya holiday.we went up at ten and got beds to the left or right of the pools no problem.you may have to move a bit more to watch your kids thats all.have a look at the funny tik tok videos hilarious.
Pools are opened to general public as day passes which includes food,so probably the reason the pool bar gets really busy and causes the queues.needs organising better for it run smoothly. Some bar staff bit grumpy but seeing some of the manner they have to deal with so its understandable. Bit of a wait for the lifts at peak times but thats all the negativity we can say really and would definitely return .
