We have just spent 7 days at this Brilliant Hotel. We were a family of 4, Grandparents, daughter and grandson and all our ages were well catered for. We had 2 very spacious side sea view rooms, which were exceptionally clean and airy with large balconies and an entrance room to store luggage and toys. The buffet restaurant had themed nights alongside the regular hot and cold offerings and you certainly wouldn’t go hungry. We also had a wonderful meal in the a la carte restaurant which was part of our Jet2 package. The waiters were efficient and friendly and even gave our grandson special ‘bubbly’ with his meal. As for the main family pool, there were people queuing to reserve beds from 8:30 am, however, we always managed to obtain sunbeds during the day and the Lifeguards would help to locate beds if you asked them to. The entertainment around this pool was good fun as well. The pool snack bar was continuously replenishing the food as well, so it always hot and fresh. All the staff from the moment we entered until we left were professional, friendly and always willing to help and assist. The atmosphere was calm and we never felt hurried to do anything. Overall, a fabulous stay in one of the best All Inclusive Hotels we have stayed in.
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Lovely staff. Excellent food will definitely go back here couldn't fault it.
I dont do reviews but this one is needed.
We are currently at this hotel on a family of 5 holiday and are due to fly home on Saturday.. before booking the hotel I seen negative reviews and I honestly can't see any issues with the hotel at all. Perfect location with beach accsess, the beach has a bar also but you have to pay for drinks, no big issue. To get into town is an 8 euro taxi..easy stuff Food has been excellent with different themed nights (Mexican,Chinese etc) the snack bar at the pool is simple but ideal, burgers, chips, hotdogs toasties. The family pool has ample sunbeds and is kept clean by the onsite lifeguards and has daily activities throughout the day hosted by the entertainment staff. If you dont have kids there is an adults only area 2/3 pools and looks lovely but I havnt been to it. Rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel is kept spotless. It seems to have a mix of French, spainsh and English but the atmosphere has been brilliant, all the kids play together and it works. Nightime eentertainmentstatts at 10 the soul night was fantastic, the other nights havnt been great but has made me laugh at some terrible singing but the beers flowing and a good time has been had.
Highly recommend and I will definitely be back here 🕺⛱️🍺
Myself and my family spent 2 wonderful weeks at this hotel. Me and my partner stayed in an upgraded room with sea view which was worth it as we had a wardrobe each, much more space than the regular rooms (which were already a very good size) and the view from the room looked like you were in the middle of the sea. I found the beds and pillows to be comfortable and of a good standard. Some minor snagging needed in the rooms and around the hotel, but the cleanliness more than made up for it. Ana G and our cleaners did a great job in keeping our room immaculate. It wasn't just the rooms that were spotless. Everywhere was kept to a very high standard, especially the restaurant. Normally on an AI, we struggle as we are vegan, but this was the first time we have been properly considered and catered for. There is a great selection for omnivores and vegetarians. Lots of salads and vegetable dishes too, but it was the kitchen staff that helped make our stay a happy one. After speaking to the cooks, we were offered a large selection of vegan options to supplement the buffet. Vegan sausages, bacon, cheese and yoghurt for breakfast and falafel, tofu, seitan, nuggets, fillets, quinoa burgers and other meat replacements available for dinner. Big thank you to Amelia who took such good care of us and even went shopping for vegan ham and turkey slices to offer us. She and Laura did such a great job in the kirchen. Between that and the outstanding level of food hygiene in the restaurant, it made this the best AI buffet restaurant I have stayed in. Two suggestions that could improve the experience would be using a vegan batter on the fried vegetables (easy and cheaper to do) and a better dessert selection. The bar staff were also incredibly hard working and friendly, always greeting you with a smile and very quick service. Although a loud, child filled pool with lots of animations team leading games is not my scene, there is a huge pool that offers this for families. Luckily for me, there is also an adults only pool (16+) at the other end of the resort which was a quiet slice of heaven. It overlooks the sea and the only thing I could hear was the crash of the waves. The pools don't open till 9, which stops the late night sunbed snatches from reserving everything, which was a great idea. Unfortunately there were some sunbeds that had towels on all day that weren't used till late afternoon. Still, we always found somewhere to lie, and if not, we went to the very close beach which was stunning. All in all I had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.
We got back 3 days ago from a lovely 2 week all inclusive stay. There were 7 of us in the party and we had 2 standard rooms and one upgraded sea view. All rooms were lovely but some parts could maybe do with a refresh(like the shower silicone!) and they were kept very clean by the lovely Ana G and the other staff. The sea view room was amazing with the extra space and we would probably upgrade again if we go back. Luckily we were on the second floor so we managed to find the stairs as only 3 lifts per tower meant you could be waiting quite a while especially around check out time 10.30am. I'd definitely request a low level room if we returned maybe no more than the 3rd floor. Bar service was very good even during half time of the world cup matches. Only a couple of the party drank spirits but J&B whisky and Pastis seemed to go down well. The beer was very nice and lines obbykept clean. The downside was the wine on tap that my sister called paint stripper. The plus side to being AI was that you got a 50% discount on wines by the bottle at dinner and there were some lovely local wines on the list that we tried. Food is where we thought we were going to struggle as there were 3 vegans and a vegetarian in the party. The first night I took a helping of what was labelled fried peppers and marked as vegan. It turns out it was actually squid! The staff were very apologetic and corrected the labels and told.us that they can prepare separate vegan food for us. We thought we might get offered a bit of tofu or chickpeas but they said they could prepare tofu, seitan, soups, nuggets, escalopes, falafels, sausages or bacon. We were amazed! We came down the next day to breakfast and the lovely Amelia served us a huge plate of vegan bacon and sausages. Along with Laura and the rest of the amazing team we were spoilt each day with whatever we wanted cooked to order as well as Alpro yoghurts and cheese. There were always plenty of other dishes marked as vegan so we were always stuffed. The only downside was the deserts which was a choice of jelly, jelly or jelly. No sorbet or any kind of cake unfortunately but the massive selection of everything else made up for it. Pedro was superb as one of the front of house managers and always helped up order anything we wanted for the next day. As mentioned in previous reviews we did have an issue getting sunbeds. The first full day we were there, we kept an eye on some of the reserves beds and many were empty for many hours. The worst being five beds on the beach view side of the pool, the premium position maybe, reserved when we got there at 9.45 and the group of 5 appeared just before 15.30. See the photos for what 9.30 looks like with towels reserving everything and no one around. I know it has been mentioned that there are protocols in place to stop this happening but in 2 weeks of being round the pool we didn't see towels removed once. The other problem we had was that although the pool was supposed to be no smoking, many people did. The life guards paid no attention. The only person we saw telling someone to smoke outside was one of the grounds keepers who was gardening one morning.
Despite the grumblings I have still given 5 stars as I thought everything was generally very good and food hygiene was taken very seriously. The location is excellent between 2 beaches and a bus stop right outside that will take you each way along the coast.
Will hopefully be back in the not too distant future.
