Superb stay
Superb hotel, and I've stayed in a few! The views are to die for especially from the sky bar, had an amazing singer on Sat 18th and I'm not ashamed to say I got very drunk as the bar served the best beer I'd had in a long time and was cheap. Room was amazing with a private balcony (room 709). Only gripes were you could hear the music from the sky bar in your room even with the patio doors closed, but it stops around 11-12pm. Air con just about kept the room cool, still had to use a fan but this was during a yellow level heatwave (34-38 Celsius) No shelf in the shower / toilet room so no where to put your toiletries. Apart from that, would 100% stay there again and the staff were amazing, always have a "Ola" and smile waiting for you. The Skybar is exceptional value and no waiting for taxis , just an elevator to your room! . Also if you give your CC number on check in, you can open a bar tab and charge the cost to your room, so no fumbling around looking for cash & cards when ordering drinks.

Great Holiday
We enjoyed ten days stay at this lovely hotel. It is not too big therefore had a more personal boutique feel. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed half board and ended up having dinner each night as there was such a variety of tasty food on offer. The rooms were clean comfortable and cool. Daily maid service was excellent. The location is ideal, bus stop outside the hotel and exit on to the promenade at poolside. We would definitely stay at Spirit again and highly recommend.

Excellent
Just returned from a fabulous 9 days at this hotel . Absolutely fantastic. Staff were so helpful, nothing was a problem, Whole hotel spotlessly clean. Very comfortable sun beds and even when hotel was full never a queue or rush for them . The roof top bar is sublime. We have visited Benelmadena a few times before but this is by far the best by a mile . Thank you so much .

Made the best of it
I was dissapointed with the size of the twin bedroom. No bedside tables that you could speak of. No drawers for nicknaks or underwear. There was a small table on the balcony which we brought into the room. The balcony was small also, with a side sea view which you had to stand up to see. The front of hotel is situated at a very busy road, the noise of traffic is unbelievable when you sit on the balcony .We found the shower floor very slippy it would need the addition of a shower mat, also a handle to hold if you are unstable on your feet . The hotel was not mobility friendly. Food was not to our taste, no nice restaurants in the vacinity either. To reach the beach you had to decend 4 flights if steps, it was difficult having to ascend back up to hotel, unfortunately there was no other way down. Room was cleaned, and towels replaced every day.
Overrated. Highly not recommended
Very nice view but the rooms are old. Uncomfortable. The pool is nice but overcrowded. Access to the beach is fine but the beach is not nice to swim in. The sand is thick and the water is full of algae. Moreover the beach is not private you will have to cross a tiny road and will be on a public beach. So imagine what will be there… The team is friendly. The room has very weak AC with no possibility to freshen the room. The area is unfortunately not developed for tourism and there are no eatable restaurants in the area. Most of the restaurants are not good
