Good hotel just not great
Everything was ok .. staff pleasant and well trained .. breakfast really good and evening meal too .. however this hotel seems to lack soul .. and the bare concrete walls are very depressing.. at night despite huge communal areas it is deserted .. we did use the the Sky Bar a couple of nights which has fantastic views but unfortunately the quality of the cocktails wasn’t very good .. dont get me wrong we did have a lovely time but preferred to go to the bar at the riviera hotel next door every night for pre meal drinks as they made a really banging aperol spritz ! Last thing the pool is very small and sunbeds are crammed in so you are literally elbow to elbow .. we preferred the beach .. although the hotel has a policy of not reserving sunbeds at the crack of dawn this was not policed from what we could see !

A very decent typical Spanish resort hotel.
Overall an enjoyable stay, 8 of us in total.
Room was ok although we didn’t get the wash hand basins in the main room rather than the bathroom. Beds comfortable though.
Breakfast was ok but boring! Just no variation at all.
Swimming pool was very good, although can imagine it getting very busy in peak periods as quite small. Sun beds were brilliant and up there with the very best. Usual bagging of sun beds empty for hours with limited pleasing.
As others have said very steep steps to beach and bar restaurants. Limited choice of restaurants to the front.
Staff interaction limited but ok when we did interact.
A pretty reasonable hotel but no wow.
Probably wouldn’t stay again but probably won’t visit Benalmadena again although fully understand why others love it.

Excellent experience - will be back.
Just had a week this fabolous hotel. From being greeted at reception by friendly staff to the spotless conditon of all the areas. Impressive cleaning of our rooms on a daily basis by lovely staff. Pool area - sun beds very comfortable. Breakfast couldnt be better. Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a very comfortable and safe stay. Special thanks to Adan, Mayca and Mark helping with taxis etc.
Excellent hotel
I have just returned home after 9 nights at this amazing hotel and have just booked to return next month it will be my 4th stay here since April . All the staff are excellent and make you feel so welcome the rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool area is very clean with a great selection of food and drinks available throughout the day at the pool bar. The sky bar on the 8th floor is amazing with great entertainment and brilliant staff who make an awesome mohito ( Daniel and Mirari ) this is definitely a hotel I will keep coming back to as there is so much to see and do in Malaga and the Costa del sol
