Very good
2nd visit probably better than the 1st visit also it is always better to get an earlier dinner as the food has been bought out from the oven and is really hot very pleased with our stay the team could were so helpful and very friendly and the location and the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional entertainment was good also. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.
Best Old Town Hotel
This was our second stay at the Voramar and can’t fault it, check-in was quick and easy, room was nice and cleaned daily, towels changed whenever you leave the used ones on shower floor, breakfast is good, rooftop pool and bar very nice, evening entertainment was good and air conditioned. Big shout out to all the staff who are amazing.

Very nice hotel nice area lots of restaurants in area hotel staff very helpful roof top pool and bar area with stunning views would recommend this hotel
Mixed feelings
Just returned home having stayed a week here and surprised to see this is ranked the 3rd best hotel out of 176 in Benidorm on here.
Positives:

Location - a 30 second walk and you are on the front by the beach and restaurants / bars etc

Staff - very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned every day / new towels etc. Check in was smooth and quick

Food - breakfast was very good and the evening meals were probably the best I've ever had at a hotel, not as big a selection as an all inclusive hotel but the quality of food was second to none
Negatives::
- Air con - the worst air con I've ever had at any hotel across Europe. It was an old system with a vent in the wall and an analogue control panel. You had to stand on a stool and put your hand right up to the vent and even then it was the equivalent to someone blowing on you. Changing the temperature gauge and fan setting from 1 to 2 did absolutely nothing and if you put the fan on number 3 it turned the air con off completely. Made having a shower and getting ready in the evenings a nightmare, as soon as I got dressed I was dripping wet / clothes wet within minutes and it took about 30 mins of being sat downstairs in the reception where they had modern air con to dry off
Also couldn't open any windows as that turned the air con off too and by the last couple of days it made the room start to smell of damp
- certain parts of the room and hotel looked run down - whilst the reception and downstairs areas of the hotel looked modern other areas were in need of some tlc. Large part of the bathroom ceiling was discoloured with all the paint chipped off (normally this wouldn't bother me but when the hotel is rated so highly you'd think they would be on top off this kind of thing)
For context I stayed in a single room that had no balcony and other than the air con issue the room was basic but ok for what I needed it for. The safe was 2 euro per day plus a 10 euro deposit which I thought was reasonable. Overall I had a good holiday and maybe just got unlucky with the room I was given. Whether I'd stay again would depend on price and time of year (temperature) assuming they don't upgrade the rooms with modern air con units.
Ok but could be better
Great location,great staff,clean and comfortable rooms that's the positives.The negatives for us was the street noise,very difficult to get a good night's sleep,food basic and bland, desert's terrible, breakfast was ok but would have been nice to see scrambled eggs or black pudding,not enough shade for the pool areas and also doesn't open until 10 so you have to sit in your room after breakfast and wait,one of the cleaners was rude because I passed her on the stairs that she was cleaning,it seems like all the hotel is bothered about is the entertainment,I wouldn't come back for these reasons
