Boasting a fantastic rooftop pool with a panoramic view to the Mediterranean Sea, this friendly hotel enjoys a prime location in the centre of Benidorm, at only a few steps from the beach and within easy access of the old town, the Marina and Benidorm's main entertainment options. Travellers can find many restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and a golf-club is available within a 10-minute drive away. Thanks to its great setting, the establishment offers an ideal base to spend a relaxing family holiday or a short break from the daily grind. The accommodation units come all with air-conditioning, a fully-equipped bathroom and functional furniture. Guests may enjoy international cuisine as well as typical Spanish specialities at the on-site restaurant, which also offers fantastic theme nights. After a long day, travellers may relax while sipping a delicious drink in the hotel's cafeteria or by taking a refreshing dip into the rooftop swimming pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I'm going to start by saying, I don't have enough good words to say about this place. We've had an amazing 2 week stay here, and have already booked to go back. I'll break it down into sections. We stayed for 2 weeks mid July, on a TUI package. We are a couple in our 30's, who love the old town, hence the reason we chose to stay here. I have personally stayed at over 70 hotels just in Benidorm over the last 20 years, and I have to say, this is one of the best, with genuinely the nicest staff I've experienced.
Staff - Probably the nicest staff I have ever encountered in any hotel, anywhere. Everyone was lovely. The bar staff work long hours, but are always lovely and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The reception team are warm and welcoming. They can also help you with buying tickets for attractions, without an upcharge. They very kindly booked our Benidorm Palace tickets, and made it a smooth process. Location - Location speaks for itself. Right in the middle of the old town. A lot of people complained about noise levels, but never heard a thing. Not sure if that's because we were on floor 5 or not. All three beaches are accessible within 6 minutes maximum. The mal pas is our personal favourite. Vincents and yellow submarine get a special mention as being in the immediate area too. There's too many bars and restaurants to mention that are very close by, so my best advice is to walk around and see takes your fancy. Cleanliness - Spotless! Everywhere around the hotel, and your room. It's really clean. Something that I did notice, was the amount of times our bedding was changed during our stay. I know that's a really random thing, but I've never had clean bedding as much as we have had here. Fresh bedding was put on every 3 days in our experience. Room - We had a Superior room, and it was massive! The room was lovely and clean, the balcony was huge, and the lovely smell hit you as you walked in. Bed was probably the comfiest I have ever slept on. Aircon was powerful in our experience, and probably some of the best hotel room aircon I have experienced. Balcony was lovely, we had a bigger balcony as we had a superior twin room on floor 5, so we had a table, 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds. The shower was adequate, but very big bathroom. Room storage was ample, 2 wardrobes with drawers, but lacking in bathroom storage. We had 2 double beds in our room, which was lovely, and the quality of bedding was great. They also provide actual duvets, not the typical brown fleece you get, it was a lovely duvet you had the choice of, which my partner did end up using.
Entertainment - You know what I'm going to say, Manu is a star! We loved Martha too, she was fab, and there was a great selection of entertainment too. You could chill out or have a dance, they cater to everyone really. There are acts from Benidorm that come and perform, and most nights there is karaoke after midnight. Bar prices were very good too, and the measures were obscene lol.
Pool - Lovely pool, see why people think it's on the smaller side, but plenty big enough. We didn't use it as we prefer the beach.
Food/Restaurant - Can't comment as we never ate at the restaurant, but everyone we have spoken to has said it was great.
Overall, this hotel is our new go to. It's really amazing, and I cannot highly recommend this place enough. We can't wait to come back, and look forward to seeing the team here again soon!
Great hotel for what we paid. Great location. Near the beach and shop's. Bus stops just a ten minutes walk away. Only thing is that it is slightly up a hill from where they dropped us off. Hotel very clean. Staff amazing🤩
Rep.....was out of this world. So helpful, funny. A delight to be around. Room's ok . We up graded and I am glad we did.
BUT !!!!! The staff need more training on gluten free requirements.
This is our 3 rd visit We got superior room with city view Central in the old town just up from the white pigeons This place is spotless From top to bottom We got b/b The breakfast has a great variety of different foods The rooftop poll is a great place to relax Really can’t fault this place at all We had too 302 The staff are very helpful We will definitely stay here on our. Ext visit to Benidorm👍
Great stay for a chilled getaway! My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Voramar for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and it was also our first trip to Benidorm. We are in our late 30s (38 and 39), and while we were definitely one of the younger couples staying here, it was absolutely fantastic. We specifically wanted to avoid the craziness of the main strip, and this hotel offered the exact atmosphere we were hoping for.
Hotel & Staff The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and impeccably well kept. The rooms were lovely. The lift services every level of the hotel apart from the pool but overall accessibility was smooth. The staff all around are brilliant; there is not a single person I could pick fault with. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
Dining & Bar The restaurant was lovely and the food was great. It was brilliant to see actual quality Spanish dishes and generally nice options rather than standard resort food, not a chicken nugget in sight! That said, if you do fancy a traditional fry up in the morning, you can still get one. The bar prices were incredibly cheap. As first timers to Benidorm, we couldn't believe how reasonable it was.
Entertainment We really enjoyed the evening shows, especially the Adele and Micheal tribute, which was brilliant. There was also one night where a male performer came on and got everyone up off their seats dancing, including the Spanish guests. It was so much fun and felt like being at an authentic Spanish party!
Facilities & Vibe I struggle with my mobility, so the stairs up to the pool and back down were slightly daunting at first. However, there is a sturdy handrail, so it turned out fine. We had no problem getting a sunbed, and the overall vibe was just lovely and chilled from start to finish.
We had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back!
Superb hotel, very efficient staff. And entertainment is excellent as is the food and all round, very good value for the money. It is highly recommended. We certainly consider returning❤️🫶🥰
