Sol Pelicanos Ocas

We stayed in the sol pelicanos part of then hotel from the 19/9/26- 26/9/26, me and my partner stayed in one room and my mam in another and both rooms are in grate need of a upgrade!! The bathroom was ok but the main bedroom there was marks all over the walls and in need of a good paint as looks run down, the tv only worked when it wanted to. The beds were hard but did get used to it after a couple of days but becareful as its 2 beds pushed together and on wheels so they move, i went to sit up in bed and the bed moved right down nearly ending up on the floor!. The room was cleand every day and fresh towels and the cleaners were lovely and always said hello when walking past.

We were all inclusive and ended up eating out during the day and twice on the night time as the food was poor very bland and repetative, the soup tasted just like cup of soups no flavour at all. There was a chilli night which had wraps n tacos that i went to get some and took one bite and the chili was freezing. As the week got on we noticed other people complaining about the food and when you pay alot of money for all inclusive you do expect it to be a better standard. The staff on the other hand never had any problems with rudness or anything they all where lovely and helpful. The pool is massive but i do belive that the hotel relays on the pool to get guests to stay at the hotel with it been from the show benidorm, it is freezing mind when you go into it also a few tiles missing around the pool area. Just a heads up the swim up bar is not included in the all inclusive you have to pay. The lifts are a nightmare mind you have to wait ages for them but no problems with them braken down. Over all this could be a really good hotel if it had a upgrade and sorted the food situation out as its in the perfect location and the pool is a huge size. If you are a smoker the smokers area is located at the in and out bar outside and its small and there is a one to the left of the swim up bar in a corner which is even smaller so easy to miss that one. Other than that we still had an amazing holiday xxx

I'm just back from A week at sol pelicanos, I was dreading it if honest after reviews. However we had a fab stay. The hotel is immaculate, very clean. Our rooms were cleaned when we required them to be. Pool area is amazing ( could do with bit more room for smokers) drinks are 4 euro a pint, 5 euros large coke. We stayed half board and it's basic food ( but something for everyone) we had chicken, steak, pizza. Breakfast was ok too people moan about anything but we had a great stay and it's central to everywhere. All in all lovely holiday looking to return and stay next year.
