Lovely calm hotel in the heart of Benidorm
We are here now at Hotel castilla. It is a lovely relaxed smaller sized hotel a 10 min gentle walk from the beach and right in the middle between the old and new town. Check in was quick and easy and we were in the room within 10 minutes of arrival. I had requested 2 rooms together, which we got and both had a lovely pool view and partial sea view from the 9 th floor . The hotel is calm, cool and had a friendly atmosphere, staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was a bother to them. The room was a perfect size. very comfortable beds, comfy pillows and a fab walk in shower with good pressure. Aircon that worked, which was a life saver as temps have been between 32- 40. In the room there is a hairdryer, mini fridge, plenty storage, safe and an iron and ironing board on request. The room has electric black out blinds which were fab at cooling the room. there is no kettle, bring your own if you enjoy tea/coffee in your room The full hotel was clean which you could smell when entering the building. House keeping came every day. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Pool area is very relaxing and there was no fighting for sunbeds and parasols, plenty for everyone. There are groups of men and women, couples and older couples, everyone was respectful and friendly. No children. Dining area is calm and relaxing and staff are very friendly and hard working. We are half board. Breakfast is lovely - mix of cereals, cheeses, meats, fruit and yogurt. I did notices a small selection of gluten free items. Lots of hot breakfast items including British bacon and pork sausages and eggs cooked anyway you like them, tea and coffee, fruit juice and sparkling wine. We are half board, we usually go bed and breakfast but at the time it was only £6 a night per person for the evening meal so we added it. The evening meal is the only thing that we were disappointed about. There was always something to eat and for £6 we shouldn’t grumble but there wasn’t lots of choice , different fish dishes, always a pizza and chips, pasta, Spanish dishes and meats. Soups puddings and salad area but it was often cold, there is a microwave, and just not to our taste at times but we always found something to eat. We did eat out. This has not spoiled our stay, we would come back but just bed and breakfast next time. At night there was usually a singer in the evening, the bar area is lovely and entertainment is more on the relaxed side. But there is all the bars, restaurants and entertainment a few minutes walk away. If you enjoy a quiet, friendly hotel in the heart of benidorm this is the hotel for you.

Nice
Room was clean and bigger than expected. Pool was very quiet and barely anyone around the pool and sunloungers plenty. Was clean, Bar prices were good in hotel Food was ok , plenty of choice . Beach only a few minutes walk. Everyone spoke very good English. There is a Cosum within 2 minutes walk. good if you want a small shop. Would go again

Excellent hotel and location
First class hotel. In an excellent location. Highly recommend. Room good size, beds excellent - really comfy, bedding, sheets, pillows and towels excellent quality. Bathroom very nice, plenty of hot water and shower good sized. Shutter screen on the main window/door is an excellent addition. Room cleaned daily, towels replaced daily, beds changed once during our 1 week stay. Breakfast was very good. Pool area is lovely too, lots of sunloungers and the bar drinks and snacks are good too. Staff are all so nice, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you xx Just book, have a great time xx

Excellent hotel.great location. good size rooms. Staff are very friendly multi lingual and very helpful. Restaurant very good too. Also gym was a nice bonus. Poolside plenty of beds & parasols the bar snacks are good value to. Cleaning staff do a great job around the hotel and the rooms.

Just back from my 3rd trip What a hotel,friendly clean and relaxing The pool area is peacefully and there always a sun bed very relaxing All the staff are amazing Only go bed and breakfast everything well presented and great choice no one should leave hungry And my favourite lady Jackie is as amazing has ever always happy and will find time to chat Can't wait tobe back next year
