This recently renovated beach hotel is located next to the shopping and entertainment area known as Rincon de Loix, 400 metres from the beach and close to Mundomar and Aqualandia. In the area, there is a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars, and a bustling nightlife. A few metres away, guests will find public transportation links and, a 30-minute walk away, is the tourist centre. This hotel has a relaxing family atmosphere, making it ideal for a relaxing sunny holiday in Spain's world-famous Costa Blanca.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
From the moment we entered the lobby I knew we had made a big mistake!!! Went to check in and it was like a cattle market of people.. we were exhausted from an early flight and just wanted to get our keys to our room we waited over an hour .. we were half board I hate all inclusive!!! LUCKILY we were on the 4th flour because we waited over a half an hour on the lift with our suitcases and that was the ONLY time we ever got a lift in the week we stayed there!!! Don’t even start me on the food we’ll put it this way I think it’s the only holiday I’ve came home a half a stone lighter than I went.. absolutely disgusting people falling about drunk … I saw a young man drunk at dinner and then later on that night wrapped round a lamppost.. The staff were not nice … … I would stay well clear of this hotel there are so many lovely hotels in Benidorm I’ve be going to Benidorm for over 25 years and never been to a bad hotel yet … until I went here… This is what Tripadvisor is for to tell of your experiences to let people make there minds up from others reviews… I didn’t want to give it any stars but I had to give it one but it deserves none
I recently spent a few nights at Hotel Rosamar, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had.
The management was extremely poor. Many of the facilities and services advertised were either unavailable or not working. The bar service was disappointing, the food was of poor quality, the room was below the standard expected of a 4-star hotel, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly.
What made the experience even worse was the way complaints were handled. Every time I raised an issue, the staff simply said they didn’t know what was happening. Nobody took responsibility, nobody tried to solve the problems, and there wasn’t even a sincere apology. Instead of resolving issues, they created unnecessary complications and left guests feeling ignored.
I would definitely not recommend this hotel, especially to families with children. If you’re planning a family holiday, I would strongly advise choosing another hotel. In my opinion, staying here is likely to ruin your holiday and waste your money.
Based on my experience, this hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating. It feels much closer to a 1-star hotel. I would not recommend Hotel Rosamar to anyone.
We booked this as a last minute 5 nights as a family of 4, 2 children aged 14 and 10. In our opinion the food was fine for an all inclusive. Breakfast was the usual as expected and lunch/dinner had a lovely salad bar and hot foods too. Our room was fine too, 2 double beds, slightly small but we weren't planning to spend much time in it anyway and air conditioning was working fine. Sadly we wouldn't return to this hotel because of 2 reasons: the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. you literally can only stand in it because of the amount of people. No floats or passing a ball to each other is allowed due to the size. Second reason is no where does it mention that the splash park has a maximum age limit of 12. The pictures we saw online were definitely adjusted to make it look bigger. This meant one of our children couldn't use it.
Another point to note is to get sun loungers you need to queue up from about 8.15am for the doors to open at 9am and then the pool actually opens at 10am. What annoyed me the most was people who jumped the queue when lots of us had queued early.
Great location if you want to be close to the strip.
Food was decent with plenty of choice daily.
Kids pool opened at 10, we would started queuing for the pool about 9.50 to ensure we could reserve some sunbeds.
The evening entertainment was very good for the children. The only disappointing issue we had was the bar would close at 11 but the entertainment would carry on till 1130-12.
The rooms were lovely and aircon was great.
The majority of the staff were fantastic, however there was one worker in the main pool bar who came across as rude and did not want to be there.
The only complaint of the hotel was that the lifts were very slow. They need upgrading urgently.
I am actually at the Rosamar for 10 days and some of the reviews are totally rubbish. This hotel is absolutely brilliant. The food is excellent, reception staff are lovely and very helpful. The restaurant staff went out of their way to help my husband who has difficulty walking and supplied him with coffee and waited on him to get his breakfast. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend this hotel
