Another super stay at RH Princesa . This time with my two boys .. I had read about the pools been busy and no inflatables, I was slightly worried but but I think the Hotel provides lots of space with the slide pool at the side of the hotel which is great for the kids - toggles were also handed out from the animation team .. The front pool is more relaxed and we spent our time between the both. What makes RH stand out is its staff and staff retention - keeping good members on board .. From the Reception team , Manuel and his team on the bar, the restaurant staff, pool staff/animation team and the cleaners are all super efficient but most of all, they are all very FRIENDLY! Our room was immaculate , we stayed all inclusive , food great , lots of choice - great coffee at the bar - oh and the cocktails are nice also! . See you in January . Jay
We have just returned from a great week at the RH Princesa as a family of five, with our three kids aged 8, 13 and 16. We were a little unsure whether the hotel would suit all three ages, but they all had a brilliant time and we would definitely return.
Location: The location was ideal for us. It’s around a 10-minute walk into Benidorm Old Town, so you're close enough to walk to plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and the beach without being right in the middle of all the noise.
Pools & slides: The kids absolutely loved the pools and slides and spent loads of time in them. The water is definitely cold when you first get in, especially when it's in the shade, but once the sun gets on it it's absolutely fine.
One thing that could be improved is the music around the pool during the day. It was a bit pants to be fair and some better music would definitely improve the atmosphere.
The sunbed situation is worth mentioning. You do need to queue from around 9:30–9:45am if you want to get a decent spot. It wasn't a massive issue for us once we knew what to expect, but definitely something worth knowing before you go.
Rooms & cleanliness: Couldn't fault this at all. Our room was spot on and cleaned every day. The whole hotel is absolutely spotless and you constantly see staff cleaning and keeping on top of everything.
Food & drinks: We stayed half board, which worked really well for us as you have the flexibility to choose which meals you want. The food was excellent throughout the week with plenty of choice, and even with three kids of different ages we always found something everyone liked.
Drinks and snacks at the hotel were also reasonably priced, so you don't feel like you're being ripped off just because you're staying in a hotel.
There is also a cheap shop directly across the road, which is really handy for picking up drinks, snacks and anything else you need during your stay.
Overall: We had a brilliant family holiday and really enjoyed our week here. The hotel is spotless, the food is excellent, the location is great and there was enough to keep our 8, 13 and 16-year-olds happy.
There are a couple of little things that could be improved, mainly the poolside music and having to queue for sunbeds, but neither would stop us coming back.
Older style Benidorm hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff.
Disappointing that breakfast is not till 08:00 and the AC doesn’t do below 20c but Ok.
Great hotel friendly staff great for kids not enough food options. Could do with a kids counter for food
Just returned from a family holiday, there were 8 of us that included teens and a small child. Good points were; buffet was nice, great drinks selection, great air con, staff attentive, hotel clean, plenty of sunbeds and good location. Not so good points.. family room was really small - there were 2 adults and a teenager in our room and it had two beds joined together with no sitting area. It was very squashed with little storage, we were shocked. Pool is too small for the number of guests and inflatables weren’t allowed, which was really disappointing. Entertainment was not the best, but that just may be our taste. We did have a good time though!
