Benidorm: the weather's great, there are lots of wonderful beaches, lovely places to eat and drink, and excellent places to stay, including the Poseidon Resort. Ideally situated, just 350 metres from the beach, the Poseidon Resort is close to the town centre too. To get from one hotel to the other, you just take a stroll through the beautiful grounds, with its palm trees and swimming pools. Make use of the resorts two outdoor swimming pools - both with beach type access. For the little ones, there are two children's pool as well as the Pulpi Splash Park. There is also a designated adults only area for those looking for some peace and quiet, with sunbeds and whirlpools to relax in. During the winter season, you can relax in the covered pool with whirlpool. To get that full sense of relaxation, why not book yourself in for a massage? Just ask reception for more details!

On our 9 day trip to Benidorm we stayed in the Poseidon Resort on C.Esperanto.This is a bit of a complex and was the ideal place to explore the new and old town. This was our first stay in this excellent hotel and it was a nice hotel as it had very good amenities. As mentioned we stayed for nine days and we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel complex. The room we had (1003) was spacious and clean as was the hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive and were a credit to to this hotel. We were half-board and the meals were 1st class in my opinion.A special mention to it's swimming pools which was amazing. All in all a superb hotel in a superb area of this resort and it's a hotel that we'll will stay in again when where next in Benidorm.(This is my first review of the Poseidon Resort).
An average 3 star hotel. Upon arriving, we quickly realised that everyone around us was Spanish. The lifts areTINY (enough for 2 persons) but everyone squeezes in which makes it super uncomfortable. The bedroom at first glance, was awful. A lick of paint would go a long way as the walls are scratched to hell. There was blood stain on the curtains and the beds are so uncomfortable that you wake with a stiff neck. The aircon isn't particularly very cooling either. Breakfast was ok, some weird selections such as Yorkshire puddings & gravy for breakfast? The pool was nice, ridiculously busy and you're very lucky to get a sunbed. This hotel is mostly full of Spanish which did make us feel a little "out of place". Location is good. Fairly central to both the strip & old town. Would I stay again? Definitely not. But it did us whilst we were here. The TV in the room did have bbc & itv though!
Booked a last min weekend break . Full Board. on first impressions- hotel is clean , staff friendly. Room a little tired. It didn’t have a kettle in there which we felt there should be as breakfast is served at 8.00 so for early risers an option to make a coffee before breakfast would have been good. We found that the food was okay- not enough meat options and a lot of fish. We were also shocked that you had to pay for water with your meals. The pool area was clean . We didn’t buy drinks or snacks from the snack bar area so cannot comment on this. One issue we had was that we had been at the pool all morning , we had left our towels to go get dinner and also go to the shop for some drinks - on our return our towels had been removed . Some Other hotel Guests told us the security guard had taken them and was they were in a bag on his trolly. On confronting him he denied this and laughed. Ky partner then went and got them back himself from the trolly!! I understand that you cannot reserve sunbeds but we felt this was unfair a, as we had Been gone around an hour . Also the security guards behaviour was disgusting . For that reason we would not return .
We recently stayed at the Poseidon Palace Hotel and had a really enjoyable experience. We booked a standard twin room and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious, modern and, most importantly, clean it was. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t quite as powerful as we would have liked. It kept the room cool, but we would have appreciated the option to increase the fan speed. We only had breakfast during our stay, but there was a good variety of options and something to suit everyone. Check-in was straightforward, although we initially went to the wrong hotel as there are two Poseidon hotels on the same resort. They have separate receptions, pools and facilities, despite being just a short walk apart, so it would have been helpful if this had been made clearer when booking. Before arriving, we emailed to ask about early check-in and were told it would depend on availability. Thankfully, our room was ready when we arrived. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, especially the receptionist whose name began with “H” and had lovely painted finger nails (sorry, I can’t remember his full name!). He was incredibly friendly, welcoming and made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location, perfectly situated between Benidorm’s Old Town and New Town. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend
Be careful when booking this hotel as I thought I was in the hotel but when I checked in I was told after I had to pay €150 deposit I was staying up the road in the apartments posiden living !
My son is 6ft and the accommodation offers one double bed and 2 sofas ! Not sofa beds actual sofas so unless you are 4ft your not fitting on the sofa ! The apartment is very out dated , one balcony door didn’t open , the handle was falling off the other , the shower was falling off also and they only change your towels etc every 5 days !
I’m not one to complain I understand it’s a budget hotel in Benidorm but on the website it’s not a true look on what you actually get !
The deposit also gets refunded within 5-25 days ! Not sure how that works but that’s what I was advised 3 times .
I did complain about the sleeping arrangements and even the guy on reception agreed the apartment isn’t suitable for 4 ! I’m yet to receive the call from the manager .
If you are looking for an apartment that takes you back to the 50th this is the place to stay 🤣 make sure if it’s the hotel you want when booking make sure it’s a room not an apartment! Also lastly the aircon is non existent!
