Underwhelmed
Just OK on first impressions. Booked a room with large terrace. Photos on website are deceptive as terrace much smaller than website. Unfortunately ours has large trees overhanging so very little sun. We have asked to move but no options for a few nights. Another hotel must be next door so we were bombarded by their entertainment till midnight last night. Breakfast was extremely busy, hard to find a table, and could only find one coffee machine outside. We are half board. Food OK. Observed the rush for sun beds around the pool this morning despite hotel policy of not reserving. Beds beyond the pool are very shaded. Construction nearby so noisy ( but appreciate beyond hotel’s control)

Horrendous noise
PLEASE BEWARE AS OF SEPTEMBER 2026 . THERE IS HORRENDOUS NOISE FROM 8am all day due to major engineering work very nearby. Hotel itself is lovely in terms of its amenities - noise was horrible! Industrial level banging and drilling ALL DAY LONG. Hotel did not inform me in advance as I would have come elsewhere! Their attitude was ‘not our issue’.

Mercure Benidorm delivered everything I could have wanted for a perfect getaway. The entire property is beautifully managed with the guest experience at its heart.The Atmosphere & Amenities: The pool and surrounding gardens feel like relaxing in absolute paradise. It is a peaceful, tranquil retreat with soft music playing in the background, complemented by a fantastic bar serving ice-cold drinks and phenomenal food (the pizza and sandwiches were unreal!).The Location: It offers the best of both worlds. It serves as a quiet, relaxing oasis, yet it is perfectly situated close to the beach and both the old and new towns. The vibrant new town nightlife is just a scenic 30-minute walk away.The Staff: While it is hard to single out individuals because the entire team was so fantastic, every single staff member went above and beyond. Their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional service truly made the holiday unforgettable.

Relaxing and comfortable. Very welcoming.
Fabulous hotel. Comfortable bedrooms although very much needed a shelf in the shower for our own products. Beds super comfy and decent balcony to enjoy sitting out on. Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Lots of effort is put into customer satisfaction. Quieter location yet 10 minutes walking, takes you to Old town, bars and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Poniente beach. Writing this, sat on the balcony and feeling chilled. Thank you Mercure, would highly recommend 🥰

Gorgeous hotel and friendly atmosphere!
Lovely location, just a 10 minute walk into old town, 30 mins to the strip but lots of restaurants and bars on route. The staff were super friendly & accommodating. The hotel was gorgeous & clean. The breakfast had so many different options I would definitely recommend getting breakfast included. The rooms were gorgeous & clean with everything you need including hair dryer, dressing gowns. I just loved it here! All the staff so happy and friendly! Thank you so much!
