Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff. The cleaners work very hard. Spotlessly clean. Food was excellent. Reception staff were always helpful and friendly. Entertainment was always excellent. Highly recommend this hotel. Look forward to a return visit soon.

Honest review arrived 14th leaving tomorrow Hotel: clean and staff are friendly

Room: for a family of 4 it is large enough 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 2 single pull out beds, were all comfy enough

Construction work opposite: absolutely fine the odd bang here and there but honeslty isnt disruptive to your holiday our room was right opposite it

Food: yes is repetitive but thats what you expect for usual All inclusive, 3 fussy eaters have managed to eat every day and myself have only found 1 day where I struggled, only down side is unfortunately seeing people putting fingers in food, putting food theyve touched back , all this having witnessed many leaving toilets without washing their hands OH and seeing a kid with his mouth under the drink dispenser around where is comes out 🤢

Pool: here is what I feel let down the pool it is not clean, chicken bones, paper cups, clumps of hair, rings of greeny/yellowy slime around it and much more, it needs a good daily clean, especially the smaller splash pool for kids is absolutely filthy most days. However I would say this mainly is down to people being unclean and lazy people especially with leaving rubbish all around the pool for the staff to clean up daily which blows into the pool. Life guards are about as good use as a door stop, only there for blowing whistle at people doing things wrong (which is right to do) and absolutely oblivious when children as in distress requiring help, I personally have helped a couple of children in distress and my own daughter got into difficulty which luckily we were paying attention and in the pool with her, not like alot of people whose children are freely playing whilst they are not with them. Oh and when there was a medical emergency in the pool turns out they are not first aid trained either!

2 out of the 4 of our family have been poorly separately over our stay, obviously cannot say what thats down too Any problems we have had have all been reported to the reception although the lady didnt seem interested half the time

Our main problem was some ofthe people staying here, unfortunately a large minority let this hotel down for the rest of the people, rude, dirty, arrogant, lazy and so on, i could go on. Entertainment: rubbish 2 out of 14 nights have been good

The park: is in complete darkness at night during the outdoor entertainment needs lighting up for saftey of children, For these reason we would not return back, also having seen eggs throw, tea bags, cigarettes thrown over the balcony to where families are sat burning holes in towels when ashtrays are provided on balcony's, is completely unacceptable, we have also seen many arrested also from this hotel. It is not giving safe family environment. Also no first aid when required to people who have needed first aid as no trained staff in.

There was also a topless lady in front of all the kids splashing her boob's in the kids shallow end, plenty of people complained to staff who said it had gone to the director as it wasnt acceptable however she continued to do this whilst talking to life guards. Air con: hit and miss if it works and has black mould on the vents

I would give 5/10 overall.
