Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Just got back today and we realy enjoyed our stay, It’s been our 3rd year at flamingo oasis.

Cleaners worked realy hard and very friendly, the toilets downstairs got cleaned but people made a mess of them and blocked all the toilets or just didn’t flush them which made them smell really bad,

Food was nice plenty of choice my daughter loved trying the deserts they was lovely also.

Sun beds and pool We always got a sun bed we had to Que in the morning which we already know from last time, the only thing that made me mad was when some family’s left cups all over, we always cleared up after ourselfs plenty of bins to put your rubbish in, just lazy. Rant over as it’s not the hotels fault.

Entertainment Absolutely brilliant you all worked realy hard you all looked so tired but always had a smile on your faces and kept us entertained. Bar staff worked realy hard aswell very friendly especially Johnathan.

honest review came as a party of 13 for a week in 5 separate rooms some of us had pool rooms and they were large and very spacious some of us overlooked the building site and reported it to be smaller and noisy on a morning

food was really good for an all inc a few picky eaters in our group that always found something to eat at each meal time … sometimes repetitive but what do you expect at an all inc? corner bar over the road was amazing for an english breakfast good quality food, cheap and great service would def recommend

one of the women at the restaurant who took u in (older lady with short curly blonde hair) was u believably rude … every time we asked for a large table to accommodate us she huffed and puffed and made us feel unwelcome

pool bar sometimes a queue but not their fault .., alfonso was great always smiling and happy but man with curly hair was very rude and snappy … snacks were great if you didn’t fancy a big meal at lunch

at men on an eve at pool bar whilst entertainment was on were brilliant always smiling and dancing and a. great addition to the hotel

all reception staff were welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had

never had an issue getting sunbeds for all of us no matter the time we went down … saw lifeguards taking towels off any beds that hadn’t been sat in for a while which was great

cleaners …. not great …. had to ask for new towels on a few occasions def not replaced every day (or every other) despite leaving sign on door to plead clean and having made our own beds etc

lifts were fine waited no longer than 5 mins at busy times although some guests did not wait their turn but not hotels fault

lots of people leaving spare floats / sun cream when leaving which was very nice of them

location was great for us as families as could walk to busy areas/ stay out of the strip as we wanted plus taxis were very cheap if we wanted to go to old town / strip

easy walk to aqua landia waterpark and plenty of nearby shops inc lidl if you needed anything

bad reviews worried us but we found it perfect as a base for families not wanting to be on strip every night

probably wouldn’t go again to benidorm due to trouble we saw but def not hotels fault
