Levante Club and Spa

We’ve had such a lovely stay at Hotel Levante Club & Spa and would definitely recommend it.

The pool area is great, the food has been consistently good, and both the pool bar and indoor bar are really accessible and comfortable. Every member of the bar and reception teams we’ve spoken to has been lovely — always friendly, polite and happy to help.

The value for money has also been fantastic. We stayed all-inclusive and, for what we paid, we honestly think the hotel offers an amazing amount. Having the food and drinks included made the whole stay feel really easy and relaxed, and we’ve been very impressed with what we’ve had for the price.

Our room is huge, air-conditioned and very comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom that has both a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle. The shower is powerful and the cubicle is really spacious. The housekeeping team also do a fantastic job — our room is cleaned beautifully and the bed is made every day.

The location is another big plus. The hotel is in a really lively area and would be especially good for anyone who enjoys going out for drinks or entertainment. Benidorm Palace is within walking distance, as are the beach, McDonald’s and Lidl. There’s a farmacia right next door, convenience stores directly across the road, and loads of bars, restaurants and takeaways nearby, so pretty much everything you might need is close at hand.

The Rock & Roll House is also just across the road and has some great live acts playing until the early hours, which is brilliant if you enjoy live music and nightlife.

Because of the location, it can be a little noisy at night. You can sometimes hear people on balconies after a few drinks, as well as music and general noise from the bars across the road. It didn’t bother me personally, but it may be something to bear in mind if you’re a very light sleeper or prefer somewhere completely quiet.

A special mention has to go to the animation team, who have been one of the highlights of our stay. On our first night, Johnny, Sylvia and Sol performed a dance show and we absolutely loved it. Throughout the rest of the week we’ve had so much fun joining in with the games and activities. Sylvia and Sol are adorable — always cheerful, encouraging and enthusiastic — and Johnny is absolutely hilarious. The three of them bring so much energy and fun to the hotel and really help create a brilliant atmosphere.

My main criticism, although this applies to quite a lot of Benidorm rather than just the hotel, is the limited choice of non-alcoholic drinks. Aside from soft drinks, the main options seem to be alcohol-free beer or a San Francisco cocktail, which is essentially fruit juice and very sweet. It would be lovely to see more alcohol-free cocktails, spirits or other adult non-alcoholic options available, particularly as the all-inclusive drinks selection is otherwise very good.

Benidorm itself can also occasionally be a little smelly and there seem to be a lot of flies around, but obviously that isn’t something the hotel can control.

Overall, we’ve had a brilliant stay. The hotel is spacious, comfortable, clean and in an excellent location, the all-inclusive package is great value for money, and the staff have been genuinely lovely. The animation team in particular have made our holiday so much fun. We’d happily stay here again.

Just got home yesterday,this was our 3rd stay at the lavante club and spa .what can i say again we were very impressed with all areas of the hotel. On checking into our room we had wine and chocolates as a thankyou for returning to the hotel. The food a usual was amazing and the chinese night was as good as any chinese restraunt and the staff were so lovely remembering us from july when we were with our daughter. The bar staff were lovely and my husband got the nickname mr 2 waters as that was all we drank during the day due to the heat. The entertainment team ,johnny,sylvie and another young girl were great fun ,killer darts is not my forte and poor sylvie so wanted me to get on the board . The reception team are very helpful and ever so friendly and polite.As usual we were happy with our room no faults to find at all .we cannot wait to return again this is definetely the hotel for us . Hotel 4 star but needs a little bit of up dating, food reasonable could be hotter, large beds and rooms . Not much entertainment. Overall ok for price
