The modern and family-friendly Hotel Deloix Aquacenter is conveniently situated in a quiet residential area of the popular holiday resort of Benidorm on the Costa Blanca. It offers guests a wide range of services and amenities such as an aqua centre, a water playground or 2 paddle courts on the rooftop with magnificent views of the city. The Aqualandia and Mundomar Waterparks can be reached within a short stroll; the centre of Benidorm and the famous Levante Beach are within walking distance. A great hotel for families with children who wish to spend a beach holiday in a quiet area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Everything and mostly all staff were exceptional, food great, cleanliness fantastic, roof top pool a bonus Only downside restaurant ran like a dictatorship, not allowed to take food out which is ok but not allowed to take coffee out to sit and relax in foyer and this is my only complaint need rectified
Just checked out of this hotel after 7 nights half board.
The hotel is situated about 20 minutes from the main benidorm strip. Which is ideal if you like being out the way of the hussle of the main town. There is plenty of supermarkets in a 10 minute walk so getting your forgotten essentials is fine. Lidl aldi iceland and a spanish owned shop.
Bus stop out side is great if you dont want to walk and 2 euros a person is great value. It also takes you to the nearby towns of albir and altea which is worth a visit.
We walked loads on this holiday as we are big fans of the tv show benidorm so found most filming locations very local.
The hotel itself is very modern and very well decorated, clean throughout 👌.
The rooms are a great size with a sofa as well as two big single beds pushed together. There is a mini bar but we got our own snacks and soft drinks from the shop. The air-conditioning is amazing and with yhr temperature hitting 40 it was well needed. The big tv was great for watching the world cup and the Mrs managed to watch her soaps. So the main English channels are there. The safe is free to use. The rooms where cleaned everyday of our stay and beds made. No kettle in room but we always take our travel one with coffee sachets for this very reason. Showers where lovely and spacious. Balcony was very big with two chairs and a table.
The dinning experience was more than what we expected after reading negative reports. The breakfast was plenty for what you need fruit, cerals ,cold meats, and all your cooked eggs bacon sausages beans etc. There was also a chef doing omelette and toasties. The coffee and juices are included with breakfast. Loads of choice to fill you up for a day out. Dinner time was something different every night and with all uour choice of potatoes pasta abd salad unless you are just so fussy you will always find loads to eat. Chicken beef and pork everyday and a chef cooking fresh fish and a meat dish.
Drinks are a reasonable price but most nights we opted for water 3 euros a big bottle.
Chef and his team need a good pat on the back at this hotel 10 out of 10.
The pools are lovely and always plenty of sunbeds. We never used the indoor pool but you will need a swim hat for this pool.
A fantastic hotel and we always base how good the hotel is if we would use again. We have already booked for next year. You will not be disappointed at this hotel unless you are expecting the ritz. Thank you for all uour team and see you all next year.
Just come back from this amazing hotel 1 staff are lovely 2 food is good 3 cleanliness is above and beyond rooms cleaned every day towels changed every day 4 pool is spotless when i read some of reviews i see on here i think they are rubbish it is a 4* hotel and the price you pay for it is value for money other 4* are a lot more expensive it is a shame we had a family of trouble causers there but they didn't spoil my holiday Thank you Hotel Deliox for a fab Holiday
Senior Assessor Review **** Aqua-Deloix Hotel, Benidorm
Check In: Arrived around 8.30pm, and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel lobby; immaculate and professionally dressed Reception Staff; and the courteous welcome Maroua, Nacho, and colleagues gave my wife and I, on our return to this tremendous holiday venue. All usual signing in for guests was achieved with prompt efficiency and we were assigned Room 2116.
Room: Room 2116 was quite a large room containing a spotlessly clean bathroom/toilet, over-the-bath waterfall-head shower; twin sinks; a bidet, and a range of bathroom toiletries for daily use. The bed area was spacious, a huge king-sized, comfortable bed; two arm-chairs and a settee; a flat screen TV; and all the lighting needs and electric plugs guest would require for their holiday stay. A 90% surround balcony was accessed via a sliding glass door; with a view of both the large swimming-pool two floors below and the deck-chair area to the side. A fridge and the very latest air-con system completed the room area, and made for a wonderful holiday time spent there. So very comfortable.
Tea/Coffee Replenishment: Tea/Coffee replenishment was absent at this venue, but the fridge was pre-loaded with complimentary water and cokes, and my wife and I always bring our own small electric kettle and tea-bags.
Sleep Quality: Sleep quality is really excellent throughout the Aqua-Deloix Hotel, Benidorm, even before the talented nightly entertainment ends at 11pm on the lower floor, and a great refreshing sleep, after each day of activities and sun-bathing, is consistently assured.
Room Cleaning: As always in my Senior Reviews, the cleaning and house-keeping staff are the stars of the show – endless cleaning and tidying up takes place at the Aqua-Deloix hotel, and every area is spotlessly maintained and smelling fresh and clean. Towels, sheets change, and room-cleaning is continued on a regular basis and one feels comfortably looked-after and cared for at this holiday venue. Well done Lorena and the Cleaning Team!
Restaurant: Having reviewed many hotels, in my 26-year capacity as a TripAdvisor venue assessor and reviewer, I can state clearly that the Aqua-Deloix, currently a 4 Star hotel, far outshines many higher Star evaluated hotels I have reviewed far and wide. Breakfast, and Dinner on a Half Board basis, is a culinary delight at the Aqua-Deloix Hotel. Well done the chefs, and restaurant management team, in providing such a wonderful variety of meals, and a fine quality of preparation for your guests.
A special mention to just two of the many efficient and professional restaurant staff: Brenda and Fred -your cheerful, polite, and industrious services to guests, are a huge asset to the Deloix Hotel, and so much appreciated by all the guests I interviewed on the matter of restaurant quality. Great job, guys, please keep up the good work for Director Tomas!
Courtesy of Hotel Staff: All Aqua-Deloix Staff were of the most courteous nature, and willing to help guests with any little problems that occurred, and 98% of Staff spoke English!
A special mention I will make of the hotel’s most professional Director, Tomas Ruiz Rodriguez. Well done, Sir! Because of your professional courtesy, and consistent wise directorship of this excellent holiday-venue; your polite and totally efficient management of this wonderful ‘home-away-from-home’ hotel - we shall most definitely be returning again, God willing, to holiday at your excellent Aqua-Deloix Hotel venue in sunny Benidorm.
Overall TripAdvisor Star Assessment: The Aqua-Deloix Hotel, Benidorm, could very well achieve a higher Star rating, IF the efficiency of Director Tomas Rodriguez continues to organise and motivate his already highly professional Hotel Staff in the wise manner in which he has laboured for many years. Well done, Sir!
Senior Assessor’s Recommendations: Keep right on doing what you are doing there at the Aqua-Deloix Hotel! Keep on providing good quality, and variety of food. Keep right on banning footballs being kicked within the hotel; and the great discipline of the hotel and pool areas, preventing unruly behaviour from children and adults.
Apart from these petty suggestions, I find that the Aqua-Deloix Hotel, Benidorm, is a gem of a holiday venue, and would thoroughly recommend this venue to all holiday-makers international as well as British. Well done, Director Tomas and tremendous Staff!

Don't be fooled by the exterior of this hotel. While the building looks modern and nice from the outside, the actual experience on the inside is definitely not up to a 4-star standard. We stayed here in mid-June and left incredibly disappointed. First, the rooms are very outdated and tired. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was completely useless and could barely handle the June heat, making the room uncomfortable to sleep in. The food was another letdown—out of a 7-night stay, the buffet was only decent for 3 nights. The rest of the time it was highly inconsistent. The biggest issue, however, is the misleading advertising regarding facilities and the constant nickel-and-diming: The Rooftop Pool Trap: We specifically booked this hotel for the adults-only rooftop pool, which easyJet markets as available "whatever time of year you visit." When we arrived, it was completely locked up. Staff told us it only opens for July and August. Indoor Pool Fees: They advertise an indoor heated pool, but don't tell you that you are forced to pay an extra €3 per person for a swimming cap just to step foot in it. The Towel Scam: You are given exactly one pool towel at the start of your holiday. If you want a clean, fresh towel at any point during your week-long stay, they charge you €1 per day to swap it. If you are paying 4-star prices, you expect 4-star facilities and transparency. Instead, this place feels like a 3-star hotel that wants to extract extra cash from you at every single turn. Would not recommend or return unless major updates are made and management drops the hidden charges.
