The Superior Belroy Complex is located just 1 minute away from Levante beach and 5 minutes walk from Benidorm center. 125 minimalist urban-style rooms characterize this hotel known in the area due to its deep-rooted history and its gastronomic and leisure offer such as Café Belroy, Umai Japanese restaurant and the L´Abadía brewery. It has a heated salt water pool, outdoor pool with solarium and equipped gym.
We really enjoyed our stay here for 5 nights. Food was good, plenty to choose from. Room was cleaned every day & big enough for a family of 3.
Plenty to do within the hotel & in a great location.
-Only thing they should be more active on is taking towels off the beds when people arent there all morning!
Great touch having come back to our room to a free bottle of bubbly to celebrate a birthday :)
Would defo recommend to others & would defo go back
We stayed at the Climia Belroy for a week in August as part of our third visit to Benidorm, and I have to say, this place genuinely surprised us. What I initially thought was going to be a fairly humble apartment turned out to be a full four star hotel offering apartment style rooms. A very pleasant surprise indeed.
The location is excellent, right in the centre of Benidorm, a short walk from Levante Beach with shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Ideal for self catering guests.
The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, wardrobe is a generous size and there's an in room safe. The shower is lovely and strong, perfect after a day in the August sunshine. The air conditioning is excellent - if anything it's almost TOO good, we had to turn it down during the night because the room had gotten a little too cool! The balcony views over Benidorm are great too.
Breakfast offers a good selection - full English, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cheeses, hams, breads, cereals and juices. Pleasant and spacious dining area. One small criticism, however, the coffee machine tends to overflow the cup slightly, and the milk is positioned a little too far away from the drinks station. A minor thing but an easy fix.
The pool is lovely, and we were pleased to see the hotel has a policy of removing reserved towels from unattended sunbeds. In principle this is brilliant - more hotels should do it. In practice we didn't see it being enforced particularly consistently during our stay, so make of that what you will. One genuine issue - there simply aren't enough parasols around the pool area - and the member of staff from the entertainment team seemed a bit miffed that I'd taken his. Perhaps if he had his own personal parasol then he should lock it away? Or ... an even better idea ... just have more parasols? On a hot August day in Benidorm this is a real problem and something the hotel should address as a priority.
The gym requires a separate key from reception rather than your room key card - an unnecessarily complicated extra step that honestly put us off using it altogether.
But here's where Climia Belroy really impressed us - the range of facilities on offer. There's Pepe's Bar nightclub, the Paris Café, a Japanese themed restaurant (hotel guests get 10% off), live entertainment by the pool in the evenings, a sauna, and the brilliant L'Abadia bar and restaurant - which also offers hotel guests 10% off and serves an excellent selection of continental beers you won't find everywhere in Benidorm.
Staff throughout were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is fully disability friendly with ramps and lifts throughout.
Overall verdict - it's a good hotel. A very good hotel that we'll absolutely return to. But with a few relatively straightforward improvements - more parasols, consistent sunbed policy enforcement, a better breakfast machine setup, and simpler gym access - it could so easily go from good to great.
Would we recommend it? Yes. Would we stay again? Absolutely.
Very good size room. Very clean hotel. Cafe was lovely for brekkie or lunch. Perfect location near the beach and near new town and old town. Would defo book again.
I dont often leave a review for a hotel but i felt this one deserved it. I booked this hotel as my daughter really wanted to visit Benidorm after watching the series but i was mindful of ending up in a hotel full of stags and hens, I read reviews on other platforms for this hotel which stated there is no sun on the pool area, the staff dont care if you arent spanish, the rooms are small, the list goes on. This is complete lies. This hotel is wonderful for familes. The staff are extremely helpful, the pool area is lovely and the sun is most definately beating down on you. We have had a wonderful stay at the Belroy. The room was huge with 2 balconies 2 bedrooms and a well equipt kitchen area. Also bravo to the hotel for removing the towels off sunebeds from people who had clearly attempted to reserve them then go off for hours. This hotel does not allow it. The sunbeds are plentyful as a result. Thank you for a fabulous holiday. We will be back
Very good cost-benefit hotel! Close to the beach, my bedroom had a nice view. Food was typical homemade and delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is super easy to walk and convenient.
