Nice hotel (BUT BE AWARE OF THIEVES IN RESORT)
Stayed for a week with our nine year old. Emailed ahead for a room with afternoon sun, didn’t get response but did have a room overlooking road and hills with afternoon sun/ evening sun. Had to request kettle from reception which came with cups. Beds are a little hard. I’ve stayed at the roca esmerelda before and really rated the food. The quality is also very good at this hotel. I think they only did Paella at lunch which we swapped a couple of times for dinner. Didn’t see tiramisu like at roca but may have missed it. We ordered from snack bar on lat night. Menu seems hidden! Food was nice but waited an hour. This hotel is slightly set back from front. I felt safe last time I visited calpe with my mum this time very different. My husband has a nice watch (only a Tag) and we were followed on two separate occasions by same women but we believe she was with others. I reported to hotel and police as I could ID her but seemed because nothing done wasn’t interested. We felt very unsafe as this was happening with our son with us. They followed right along sea front and two nights later the women was on the street of our hotel waiting at 11.30am. She is tall slim puckered lips and wears long skirts and long cardigans. I think she is with another women with a child in a pram and a man. Has dark hair but bleached at ends. She worn hair up one night and down the other. My advice would be to leave everything in your safe and have your wits about you. We don’t drink alcohol but think they are waiting for opportunities when people are less vigilant. She knew the first time I had spotted her but still came back two nights later. We have also since read things online. Apparently the streets don’t have cctv so unless something happens on private property nothing can be done. There needs to be a police presence in the area to deal with these people.

Family Holiday
As it was May the hotel and pool not too busy always beds available. Food very good, always something to choose from, my sister especially enjoyed the desserts. We always asked for tap water rather than pay for a bottle of mineral water at diner. All the staff throughout the hotel were very polite and helpful.

Beautiful Hotel with Room for Improvement
AR Diamante Beach Spa Hotel is an impressive hotel with a modern, spacious interior. The open-plan design creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the facilities are excellent. There is a spa, indoor recreation areas, three outdoor pools, and plenty of sun loungers available for guests.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I found the bed very comfortable. However, the rooms lack practical storage, with very little shelving or space personal items. There is a small fridge, which is useful, but there are no suitable mirrors for doing hair or makeup. The bathroom mirror was particularly difficult to use. I was also concerned that there were no visible fire safety instructions in the room.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. Most of the food, including cooked dishes, was served cold and was often overcooked. Guests with food allergies would likely struggle, as there appeared to be a risk of cross-contamination. There were not enough serving utensils, allergen information was not clearly labelled, and there were very few allergy-friendly alternatives available.

A wonderful stay in a great hotel. |Staff could not have been more helpful. Great location near beach with excellent flat walks to Ifack and Calpe town centre.
Great short break
Had 4 night break with my sister. Lovely hotel friendly helpful staff and located close to beach with good choice of bars and restaurants. We were given a room with a king size bed and after I raised with reception that we needed a twin room the sofa was quickly converted to a comfortable double bed. Mainly Spanish holiday makers but were all polite and children well behaved. Show every night in the outdoor theatre across the road which we listened to from our balcony. Large supermarket across the road with everything you could want but a glass of white wine in the hotel was only €3 and a bottle in the restaurant was €12 which we thought was very reasonable and the snack bar food was good value and delicious. The hotel runs an aqua gym on the beach in the sea at 11 which is good fun with lots of people joining in as well as one by the pool and there seemed to be lots of kids activities. I can definitely recommend this hotel even though it is an hour and 45 minutes transfer but worth it.
