Hit and miss
Hotel rooms so clean, great house keeping, food hit and miss, pools a struggle getting in out. Picked glass of sunbeds and in pool. Entertainment good, except elvis monday night, vile foul mouthed ones having to send kids away, should be an adults only hotel. Couldnt fault staff at all pool cleaning needs sorted. Stop serving drinks at night in glass bottles , glass etc. Indoor orient express, loved it but music would deafen you. But did enjoy.

Overall good- a few improvements could make it great
Let me start with the positives. Location ( as long as you can make peace with the inevitable noise ) Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool area is great. Explorers bar has a great atmosphere in evenings. Tropical bar and pool bar are great during day. Breakfast food and Evening meal great choice. Negatives. For a 4 star hotel I would expect complimentary water in the rooms , also having to pay for teas and coffees to be replenished is something I did not expect. The rooms need black out curtains as the light from the balconies can interfere with light sleepers. Juice at breakfast is poor , more like squash. I would love to have a choice of fresh juices. Sunbed saving first thing. Every morning we were down before 9am but all poolside sunbeds already had towels on them with nobody using them. Overall a decent hotel - would be a 5 if the negatives were addressed.
top hotel great staff food and rooms
we stayed at Ambassador Playa 2 last days in june into july, were do i start, what a fantastic hotel looks good and is good from moment you arrive to moment you go checkin very quick and pleasant staff, location is good right at start of strip but rooms arent noisy , we had a pool view on 7th floor great for nosing and you could watch entertainment from balcony if you wanted to, the rooms were great and were cleaned every day good size plenty of coat hangers and tea making facilities shower was powerful and a large tv showing quiet few english programs, plenty of sunbeds for size of hotel and 2 good pools, in evening sunbeds removed and all sorts of acts on, on your room card it shows a few local bars right by hotel and if you show key in them you get think it was 25% discount on your drinks, the food was so varied and good, we normally eat out a few times but we ate in every day it was so good, to finish of it was the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time loved everything about it and would recommend and stay there again
