Ambassador Playa I

Upon arrival we found the reception staff were very abrupt and rude, we went to the room, and the air condition wasn't working so we reported it 3 times on each occasion the reception staff told us it had been fixed, in the end we asked for a fan, the Temperature was 36c. Next we asked for pool towels, we were charged 26 Euro for 2 towels we would get 20 Euro back at the end of our stay, and they kept 6 Euro. At the end of day 1. we took the towels to be exchanged for fresh towels, but were told it would cost 3 Euro per towel per day to have fresh towels, we have never experience this before. The food on whole was average and the staff were in the dinning room were very rude. The pool area where we thought we could have some relaxation and a dip to cool down, soon became apparent this was not going to happen, we encountered at least 20 young to middle aged men and young girls all drinking, swearing, in the pool, they had inflatables, and hard large balls, and took over the whole pool, several people were hit by the ball, which they thought this was funny, they hit a older woman with the ball on the face, she was disabled, they all laughed, then she was hit a second time, which they thought was even funnier. one of the older men shouted over to the woman, you look as if you only have 10 year left to live so try enjoy. They were reported by several guests to the reception who in turn told them to report it to the pool bar staff. This went on for 5 days which is unacceptable, this is a breach of customer Safety, my wife and others felt very unsafe as there was no security measures. This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel, we have been to many hotels, and this does not rate a 3 star hotel.

This hotel has gone right down the pan. First if all we had to endure a group of men (15 or so) that drank and eat food in the pool while obviously being obnoxious and loud while kids were about. To make it worse, the security and bar staff were not only allowing it, but we're bringing them drinks. The hotel cleanliness is terrible, rooms half cleaned, bedding NOT changed in 12 days. Food was shocking to say the least, pathetic attempts of what ever the description was above it. And the night time entertainment treat us to either a delight of an 89+ plus Elvis wearing wig and flying suit ,or some dude playing an out of date fiddle. Pool area is filthy, Brocken beds, not enough brollies, and enough grease floating on the top of both pools to cook chips for a starving nation. Staff are as helpful as a chocolate fire guard.
