Sickness bug- really? Out of order! Visitors should try using hand sanitser! Take some responsibility. Been 5 times and we've always been fine. Obviously some would like to complain for the slight chance they can try for compensation. Staff always cleaning communal areas. Maids are outstanding. Food hot and always refreshed frequently. Staff the same year after year. Ignore this "sickness" drivel. Be back in a heartbeat. Great location, branded drinks, good staff. Love this hotel.

Hotel Agua Azul
Ivor went to this hotel second day our friend went down with a sickness bug. Two days afterwards my wife went down with sickness and diarrhoea vomiting and Jet2 said there is nothing to worry about. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. They are a load of liars my wife spent one day in hospital. We are home now she is still not well. All it is. It’s money money money. We found out just before we left they are closing the hotel for a month to sanitise it? What does that tell you?
Avoid food in hotel
3 out 4 of our group had sickness and diarrhoea during our stay. Various other people had same complaints in the hotel. Despite this staff there were no issues at the hotel, which was not true. No members of staff in restaurant wore gloves at any time we were there and the person dealing with show cooking used same utensils for fish and chicken. Would not stay again.

Great hotel
This is my third visit to this hotel. Great location. The hotel is spotless. Constant cleaning takes place. I read other reviews about a sickness bug but just do not seem to understand where it could come from due to how clean the hotel is. Fortunately, me and my partner did not become ill. I am Coeliac and the hotel catered for me really well. They showed me the food options of what I could and couldn't have and always a good selection for me. The only thing I would ask the hotel to invest in is a defib. Unfortunately there was an incident at the pool. Maybe this could have helped. Overall, I would retun again.
