Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
I don’t believe this is a 4-star hotel; in my opinion, it is more comparable to a 2 or 3 star.
Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 members of my family became ill with a sickness bug during our stay. We also spoke to many other guests who had family members sick, and even as we were leaving at 6:00 am, we heard someone being sick.
The hygiene standards in the restaurant were also concerning. Many guests were eating in swimwear, some were barefoot, and we regularly saw people handling food with their hands before serving themselves.
The entertainment was mixed. Some of the performances were enjoyable, but others were of poor quality and the volume was far too loud for the size of the venue, making it uncomfortable to watch.
Huge problem with sun beds and seating outside. There should be space for to sit for people who don’t smoke or vape also.
Overall, our experience was disappointing and did not meet the standard we would expect from a 4-star hotel.
Big Hit Again
This is our second time here and it’s excellent . From the clean rooms , fantastic location ,not a Hugh selection of food but a well cooked ,well presented and thoroughly enjoyable meals at every sitting. Paula whatever they are paying you it’s not enough., that’s girl works tirelessly and is the life around the pool. Generally the staff are very professional and pleasant but they work very hard and under those conditions it can be hard to smile all day but nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff . You will go far to try to get better in Benidorm

Pleasant stay at Hotel Agua Azul
Overall we enjoyed our week long stay at the hotel. The hotel is well located to the Old Town and beach . Shops, bus stops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are hard working and friendly. The room was compact but we found the location of the wash hand basin in the bedroom an inconvenience and quite a hazard. Comfortable bed and the room was well serviced on a daily basis. Even though there was a single buffet restaurant, the cuisine was of a high standard with adequate choices. The displays of food were constantly monitored and replenished. We enjoyed the daily show cooking.
Good hotel
Just back from another wonderful stay at hotel. Been at hotel several times . Pilar runs an excellent hotel and her staff are always helpful and friendly and happy.Rooms are good lovely shower .Food nice plenty of choice . Location is ideal only five minutes to old town and fifteen minutes to main strip. Overall a good 4star hotel will be back next year.
Seaside metropolis
The good point first, STAFF ARE BRILLIANT, cheerful, helpful. friendly. We was room 213, arrived around 2pm, (flight was delayed one hour), no room ready, room very clean, and daily, but very tatty as the hotel must be in all year round use. NOT a fan of the glass toilet doors. We arrived on the Saturday, by Sunday morning, wife VERY ill, Monday, so was I. The reception called our room to ask if we was ok on the Tuesday, and said there was a virus in the hotel, numerous people coming down with it. Week was a total right off Could not even get a good night's sleep due to the noise from outside the hotel (back of the hotel) ALL NIGHT, and from other rooms, could hear people snoring in the room next door, the walls are that thin. Then there's the 9am sunbed showdown, what a joke. First and ONLY time in Beni
