A little gem
Great location on seafront near to old town and cable car,hop on /off buses . Room was large with small kitchenette and fridge plus tea/coffee machine/kettle.The room was very clean with large shower ,balcony and little garden area with sun beds/umbrella on ground floor . We stayed on B/B rate and breakfast had wide range of food to high standard . Lots of restaurants nearby as well as local spar supermarkets. In evening music by pool area with happy hour 5-6pm half price drinks . All staff are very friendly,helpful and Nicolas (manager) does read the reviews actually answers the questions . Highly recommend this hotel .
Paradise on earth
Cannot fault this amazing hotel. We return every year and would never think of staying anywhere else. We highly recommend

A super hotel which we really enjoyed. The service was excellent and the staff are really great. We will certainly return in the future.
Another wonderful holiday
Lovely Hotel in a prime position within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The staff are all very helpful and can’t do enough to assist where necessary. Any issues are quickly resolved.
Honeymoon Stay
This was our first visit to both Madeira and Porto Bay hotel for our honeymoon. The hotel is excellent and staff welcoming and extremely helpful. We only stayed bed and breakfast which offered excellent choice. The restaurant was set menu varying each day and looked good, however, we wanted to try different venues each night and did not have evening meal at hotel. The hotel is in a great location, has excellent facilities, I would definitely recommend and visit again in future.
