Just ok.
Only booked for two nights as wasn't sure if we would stay in Funchal, glad I did as it wasn't great, staff were OK and breakfast too but air conditioning sounded like a jet engine hardly slept at all. My advice would be pay a bit more and find somewhere nicer.
The place needs an update!
Don’t bother,the internet is so slow,( in and out) a lot of the electrical outlets don’t work,it smells like cigarettes.
Clean, good breakfast and good service
Excellent location near the centre of Funchal, but fairly quiet. The rooms on 5th floor with balcony are the best. The breakfast is good, except for the machine coffe, which needs to be mixed with hot chocolate to make it drinkable.

AWFULLY LOAD AC
Do not book room 105 or 205, permanent sound from AC or HVAC system is unbearable and guarantees sleepless nights. Staff is aware of this issue yet these rooms are available for booking. No solution was offered for us, just that we need to copy with it😢😢

Good location
Great for location, very central, close to shops, carnival festivities and grabbing the bus. The breakfast items were also good and constantly refreshed. The staff at reception were very friendly and always on hand to help with any questions or queries
