A free shuttle service takes you to Vilamoura's dazzling marina and beach. The 92 air-conditioned apartments include spacious three-bedroom properties for up to six people. All have a private balcony and heated bathroom floor, plus a kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher, oven, and fridge. The Residences has its own restaurant and poolside bar that are open in summer, with pizzas, burgers, cocktails and smoothies on the menu. The hotel also delivers family meals to the apartments as part of its 24-hour room service. On hot days, you can cool off in our lazy river outdoor pool or relax with a good book on the sun loungers.

Our family and I stayed at the residences last week from Tuesday 26th - Sat 30th September.
1: On arrival our room was not available at 4pm for check in due to a faulty shutter. We had to wait until 5pm before we could access our room. The shutter that was broken in the double room still remained unfixed.
2: There was a sewage smell from the double room bathroom which leaked into the room itself the whole time we were staying. This was absolutely disgusting. When this issue was mentioned to reception on 3 different occasions, no one came to inspect the smell and we had to ensure this disgusting smell for the duration of our trip.
3: The apartments as a whole were dusty and dirty. I have taken videos and photos of large amount of dust on numerous surfaces. Especially dust falling from the air conditioning unit in the double room.
4: Our room was not cleaned on day 3 of our break. We reported this to reception and housekeeping did not arrive until after 5pm.
5: There was quite a lot of marks on furniture and a massive hole in the sofa, no handle on the tap in the double room and the sofa was extremely dirty and therefore we did not sit on this the entire break.
Fantastic family stay
We stayed for 5 nights in a two bedroom apartment overlooking the Victoria Golf Club as a family of two adults and two teenagers. The apartment was warm and extremely comfortable. TV with all channels. Underground parking. Everything needed for self catering in the lovely kitchen. Friendly and accommodating staff who do their best to help with any queries. Full cleaning every day. Heated indoor swimming pool and gym for use. Car needed to get to the fantastic beaches nearby. Could not recommend this place highly enough.

Avoid as building work going on
The hotel itself is decent but unfortunately there’s building work going on at the moment. We can’t use the kitchen as builders are standing on the balcony outside which is uncomfortable. Avoid at the moment. Manager isn’t prepared to do anything. Location is ok. Choose somewhere else
Great for families with a baby
I’ve recently stayed at the residence and all I can say how amazing it is! The room are so clean and spacious! An uber drive to marina is about 10 mins but if you have your own car can park underneath with your own designated spot! I have come away first time with my 10 month old and honestly feel so realxed with him the cot with was given was amazing!! (If staying with a baby make sure to ask for a room with a bath! Pool area spacious with lots of sun loungers and a nice heated pool indoors! Great for families who just want there own space and not too far from the marina to go out for dinner
Fantastic time at The Residences at Victoria
We recently did a family trip to The Residences at Victoria. We were returning guests and the experience was as good as the first time we went. Overall the stay was good value for money. The location is so peaceful and quiet and great to see the addition of a new supermarket ‘Pingo Doche’ only a 20 mins walk away. The atmosphere in the resort was lovely with everyone very friendly and welcoming. I’d especially like to mention two staff members who made our trip extra special and looked after us so well. They are Maria who works in Reception and Nuno who manages the Piazza. Maria was extremely helpful in advance of our trip and ensured we had a wheelchair for Mum and a ground floor apartment. Maria is a fantastic staff member and was so pleasant to deal with. Nuno is another exceptional staff member. No ask was too much and he looked after us so many evenings staying later than his work schedule to ensure we were fed and looked after. His customer service is fantastic and we cannot sing his praises highly enough. He is a super member of staff and we are very grateful for the way he looked after us. The opening hours of the Piazza weren’t great and during our first week it closed at 5.30pm with last orders for food at 5pm! This did improve in our second week whereby it stayed open until 7pm but I still feel this is too early. It would be great if the opening hours could be extended especially during the busy summer months (June onwards). The apartments were very spacious and clean with great views onto the golf course and the pool. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of fresh towels every day … we had left towels to be changed but found that these towels were just being folded and put back on the towel rails / racks. Also the cleaning staff weren’t very friendly which was disappointing. The overall maintenance in the apartments could be a little better as there were problems with the sink and dishwasher in my sister’s apartment. Also there was no safe in her apartment and when she asked for one she was told it had been removed because it wasn’t working properly! The pool area was clean with plenty of sun loungers and towels provided from reception. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and have booked to go back again next year which we are already looking forward to.
