The four star Vilar do Golf is situated in the prestigious 2,000 acre Quinta do Lago Estate in the Algarve, Portugal. It features indoor and outdoor pools, a children's pool, whirlpool, fitness centre and spa. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The air-conditioned villas include a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Each villa has a private bathroom with bath or shower and balcony or terrace. Satellite TV, a DVD player and iHome alarm clock are also provided.
With stunning views of the Quinta do Lago Golf Course, the Bobby Jones restaurant serves a delicious range of local and international dishes made using fresh local ingredients. The seasonal pool bar and grill serves light meals and refreshments, while the Noa café serves breakfast, lunch and snacks. For your convenience a grocery store is also available on-site. The pristine Praia da Quinta do Lago beach with its boardwalk access is just 3 miles away. The area is part of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a coastal lagoon with beautiful islands and abundant wildlife. Quinto do Lago's three golf courses are all within 5 miles. Local shops and restaurants in the centre of Almancil are just 4 miles away. Faro Airport is 15 miles.
PLEASE NOTE: A refundable security deposit of €100 per apartment is required upon arrival. This deposit is obligatory and must be paid with a valid debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted. Guests who are unable to provide the deposit will not gain entry to the apartment. Additional fees apply for the use of the leisure centre and other resort facilities. Please be advised that pets are not allowed on-site, except guide dogs.
**Please note that the indoor pool and whirlpool will be closed from 11 September to 18 September 2020.

Excellent resort with beautiful views!
The resort was absolutely beautiful! Great golf views, wonderful olive trees everywhere and amazing accommodations! Will definitely be going back again in the summer but a car is definitely needed to get a round and see the area. If you’re only staying at resort and beach, they have wonderful shuttle system and will get you around. Overall 5 STARS!!

As good as it gets!
Wonderful location for a golf trip, at the heart of Quinto do Lago community. Superb self catering resort complex. Well maintained units, quiet, easy to access all resort amenities. Very friendly staff, and attentive to details. Supermercado and restaurants on site. Good parking, easy access to all units. Obviously take care of the property as ongoing improvements are in evidence. Bravo!!! Sure glad I stayed. No hesitation to book again. Completely met the expectations of this winter-weary Canadian looking for a relaxing break.

The resort was immaculate. Our unit was in an excellent location. The best was the reception staff. They were so helpful. Not only with resort questions but with general tourist questions. Shouts out to Lillianna.

We had a wonderful stay at Vilar do Golf! Our two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The property was exceptionally clean from top to bottom — you could tell the housekeeping team takes real pride in their work. The Italian restaurant on-site was a lovely bonus, with great pizza and a nice atmosphere, perfect for a no-fuss evening after a day of exploring. A very special shout-out to Liliana at the reception desk. She went far beyond what her job required, even stepping in to help us with a car rental we had arranged on our own. Her kindness, initiative, and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference to our stay. She is truly exceptional and a tremendous asset to Vilar do Golf.

Great place and a great location.
The location is a very easy 2 min drive to the beach or take the shuttle in the high season. The rooms are very well organized and efficient. Staff are friendly and helpful. We reported a toaster that was not working and it was replaced immediately. Good location to access the several good restaurants on and nearby the property. A great place to stay as a home base.
