Conrad Algarve

Having been visiting this hotel since 2019, the recent renovations have taken it up another level. The new pool bar is a fantastic new addition and is great for drinks and snacks throughout the day. We had a fantastic welcome from Goncalez, the concierge, though all the team take a real interest in your day. Efficient and friendly check in from Diogo who also remembered us from previous stays. We had a King Grand Deluxe Pool View Room ( 322) spotlessly clean, great walk in shower and huge comfy bed. Housekeeping do a fantastic job with evening turn down as well. ( though I do prefer these rooms located around the atrium). The pool is fantastic for chilling and all the team there go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. Lucky and Ricardo are such good fun and are constantly buzzing around. My only criticism is the "reserving" of sunloungers with books, bags and towels. I come down early so not a problem but after 10am its full!! The Nest Bar is great in the evening and Jao and his team are fab. Sushmita and Collins are just so friendly. Breakfast is superb lots of choice from both the buffet and cooked to order and Eli remembered my drinks choice every morning. We just love it here see you next year.

From the moment you sweep up the palm-lined drive to the domed porte-cochère, the Conrad Algarve announces itself as something special.

The facilities are, quite simply, superb. The infinity pool is the jewel — a serene sun terrace with service that makes idling away an afternoon feel like the most natural thing in the world — but it is only one of several, including a beautifully mosaicked covered pool that opens on three sides to the gardens. The Conrad Spa is a sanctuary in its own right, with an ice fountain, aromatic steam room, experience showers and intuitive therapists whose treatments are genuinely first-class. Add manicured gardens, a fitness centre, tennis, an imaginative kids' club and a golf concierge with the keys to Quinta do Lago's celebrated courses, and you have a resort that caters effortlessly to every kind of guest.

But it is the food that elevates a very good stay into a memorable one. All outlets were fabulous with great service!

The rooms are spacious and serene — muted tones, marble bathrooms with rain showers and deep tubs, private balconies framing the gardens or the water. Throughout, the service strikes that rare balance of polish and genuine warmth; the staff anticipate rather than intrude.

The Conrad Algarve is one of the finest five-star properties on this stretch of coast, and it earns the description without caveat. Exceptional facilities, exceptional food, and a sense of place that lingers long after you've left. Highly recommended.
