The Dom Jose Hotel extends a warm welcome to every guest. From the moment you arrive, you'll appreciate the stylishly appointed interior throughout. Each stylish twin/double room is air conditioned (not heated) and comes equipped with satellite TV and direct dial telephone. All feature a private bathroom. To enjoy the Algarve sunshine, you have a choice: reclining by the Dom Jose Hotel pool, or soaking up some rays on the beach just outside. The hotel maintains an area on the beach complete with sunbeds and umbrellas (between June-September and at a small fee) so your total comfort is assured.

The Dom Jose Beach Hotel occupies a fabulous position, overlooking the beach at Quarteira and the deep blue Atlantic Ocean beyond. The long promenade outside the hotel offers a great opportunity to explore the local area. Bodering the promenade is the enticing sandy beach, where the hotel maintains an area for guests with sunbeds and umbrellas (at a fee, available in summer months only).
Within the immediate area there are shops, restaurants, and a wide range of watersports. Nearby there is a selection of excellent golf courses & a casino in Vilamoura.

Great location but some areas for improvement
We recently stayed as couple for 5 nights and to be honest there are significantly more positives than negatives however we found the welcome by reception on arrival to be very impersonal and almost rude. Overall the hotel is spotless , very modern , lovely breakfast which you can eat outdoors on balcony area , bar staff are very friendly etc. The rooms are compact but have everything you may need but tight nonetheless. We paid extra for a sea view and were disappointed to be allocated 124 which is first floor overlooking a roof from a small balcony. Overall a positive visit but would suggest some customer care training at front of house reception as this is a guests first impression

Wonderful "beach vibe" hotel in a great location
We had a wonderful five nights at Dom Jose hotel. The staff were very amenable and helpful, the food (breakfast) was fresh and plentiful and the location, right by the beach and in the middle of the town was fantastic. We are already looking forward to returning!

Beautiful location
Wonderful location we stayed for 3 nights. Room very clean and everything we needed. Breakfast was superb lots of choice. Beach was beautiful. Staff very polite and friendly. Local restaurants fabulous tapas at Coral. Short walk to Vilamoura for a busier scene. We really enjoyed our short break and would love to come back .
Brilliant holiday
Just returned from our fourth stay at this hotel. Love the location of the hotel and everything about it. The hotel is beautiful and staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. One evening our safe wasn’t working properly and within ten minutes they were with us and replaced it. Would highly recommend. It feels so safe and we had such a relaxing stay.
Holiday on the Algarve
A fantastic hotel in a superb location. When we arrived at this hotel our transfer dropped us in a street a few 100 metres from the hotel. Being honest our first impression of the hotel wasn't great however all that changed the minute we walked through the door. Check in was prompt and welcoming we were provided with all the information we needed. The hotel lounge was spotless. We were allocated room 318 a double room with Balcony and sea view, and what a view it is. The room was clean with kettle fridge comfortable beds great bathroom with powerful shower and hot water all the time. The room was tidied daily, beds made and changed and towels changed daily. Opposite the hotel they have there own private beach area with sunbeds and parasols this are charged at 15 euros per day for 2 beds and a parasol, you also get waiter service for drinks to be served to you on the beach. The hotel has a small pool with sunbeds, although there are signs stating reserving sunbeds is not allowed, as with most places it still happens albeit we could have got one anytime until mid morning. The restaurant area is very clean and the food replenished continually throughout breakfast and evening meal food was good quality and plentiful. Staff are constantly removing empty plates and cleaning tables. The bar serves lots of good quality beers with good table service. All in all this is a great hotel providing great customer service in a friendly and helpful way. The staff are really very good in every area.
