Set beside the scenic marina in Portimão, NH Marina Portimão Resort offers a relaxing base to enjoy the laid-back beach life of the Algarve. Just under 45 kilometres from Faro Airport, the resort is perfectly positioned near Praia da Rocha beach, and within easy reach of local shops, restaurants, and family attractions. On-site parking adds to the convenience for those exploring the coast by car.
The resort is divided into three areas – Marina Sun, Marina Deck, and Marina Beach – all within walking distance of the pools, restaurants, and bars. If you’d rather not walk, a complimentary buggy service is available to take you comfortably around the resort, including to and from Praia da Rocha.
There are three outdoor saltwater pools, including one large main pool, and one for children, surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. Guests can also make use of the 24hr on-site gym, while younger travellers will enjoy the seasonal children’s club and entertainment.
Start your day with a generous breakfast showcasing local Portuguese flavours, served fresh each morning. The main restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, offering a menu of seasonal dishes made with quality ingredients. Go somewhere else.
Disappointed by this place. I stay at NH hotels for work and they are normally a lot better. This was dirty and needing a lot of maintenance. Our shower had mould in it. There was pain peeling off the walls around the place. The breakfast is not worth the money. In fact the whole experience was overpriced at 219 euro per night. Go somewhere else is my advice. Portimao has a lot of hotels- there must be better around.

Lovely hotel
We have just finished our holiday here. This hotel is absolutely wonderful, and great breakfast. Location is just amazing as our room looked out onto the marina. There are loads of restaurants and shops in the area, and plenty to do. The beach is just a few minutes walk away. The weather was just perfect, not a cloud to be seen. But above all was the staff at the hotel, especially Maria at the reception. She is so lovely, friendly, helpful and an all round star. She went out of her way to help and resolve an issue we had with our transfer company. I just can’t praise her enough, beautiful girl. Would definitely love to visit again
Pleasant relaxed stay
Lovely large room and great facility , would have liked complimentary tea and coffee and water in room. However they did have a few items to purchase and a local shop which staff were lovely.

Nice location, nice hotel
Lovely quiet setting, great views of the marina and close to the beach and restaurants. Big pool and plenty of sun loungers. Really good breakfast, good quality and lots of variety. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss and having to wait over a hour for one room to be ready when we arrived at 4pm was disappointing but not catastrophic.

Would not go back
Ants in the room. Rooms need upgrading. Bathroom was small and moldy. Lighting in room made it always dark. Pool was very salty, it burned your eyes instantly.
