This hotel enjoys a fantastic location, at the west of Praia da Rocha, overlooking the magnificent Três Castelos Beach. The sunset over Ponta da Piedade, across Lagos bay, is a daily scenery not to be missed, always unique and stunning. There is a supermarket, as well as bars and restaurants only 100 metres from the hotel. Only a pedestrian walk stands between this hotel and the beach. The hotel is 500 metres from the centre of the fantastic Praia da Rocha, the most famous beach in the Algarve.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing hotel in a great location. The whole Atmosphere here is second to none, every member of staff I spoke to was so happy, smiley and friendly. The reception staff were very welcoming, the bar staff are always happy to have a chat and are so kind and caring, the housekeeping staff do an amazing job at keeping the hotel and rooms upto a great standard. This is a very chilled hotel with variation of all ages.
Great hotel great location
We didn’t quite know what to expect when we arrived, but any apprehension we had disappeared the moment we checked in.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly member of the reception team, Vincent, if my memory serves me correctly. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and when we asked for a dinner recommendation, he kindly suggested a nearby restaurant. I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious!
Our room was spotlessly clean from day one and was maintained to an exceptionally high standard every day throughout our stay. We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful sea view, which made our stay even more special.
We didn’t spend much time around the pool as we had several tours booked and preferred exploring the local beaches. However, it was clear that the pool area was cleaned every evening and kept to a very high standard. In fact, the hotel as a whole was immaculate throughout our stay.
The location couldn’t have been better, with everything we needed close by. My wife and I had a wonderful holiday, and we’d like to thank all the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Long weekend stay
the hotel gives value for money but the bathrooms require updating. Staff are very friendly and efficient. if your on a budget the Luar is good value for the money
Super little hotel
Super budget hotel , super clean rooms and staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good a good selection. The location is fantastic right at the end of the strip so very quiet the steps to the beach are just across the road.
We had a wonderful holiday relaxing but busy if you want to walk the strip and get a nice evening meal.
Huge big up to the cleanliness and cleaners super job nothing is to much trouble. Huge big up to the pool guy to who keeps it clean and immaculate!

The breakfast crew AMAZING started my day and nourished me every morning to get me started sometimes I would be the 1st person at 7am when Esther opened the door. The preparation and cooking from Elia, Okasana, Greto. Very Flavorful and lots of options for all guests. Great music playing in the background within this friendly and clean environment.
The bar/restaurant crew smiling and supportive for lunches, dinners, and drinks. Fabio, Lucas, Dilien , Camila, Alfonso constantly as busy as they were always there for me with a smile and ready to take my order.
Behind the scenes were Fernanda, Bruna, Vanessa not to be unnoticed as they were delivering pure deliciousness. I miss that Portuguese steak sandwich! The menu offers lots of options and is very flavorful. The inside lounge area has comfortable seating with tables, pool table, darts and a TV screen.
The housekeeper besides room maintenance Veronica constantly brought me warm smiles everyday and provided the soaps and towels to ensure I was fresh and clean all the time.
The pool is still glorious as mentioned last year! This time Goncalo Rosa would bring the finest Portuguese guitar of unique sounds to dance and chill.
Don’t forget to book your massage with Maria. She is very talented and will take great care of your muscles, aches, or areas of tension to make you feel relaxed.
I learned this time they even offer an open air cinema for movies to enjoy. I did not experience this as there’s a specific schedule and my visit was just afterwards. Hopefully next time.
