Great hotel with wonderful staff
The Hoyle is well situated in the middle of Portimao. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast is also incredible with a stunning view. We also enjoyed a great dinner. Overall a very good experience.

A wonderful experience
We had the most wonderful stay at this glorious hotel. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and very professional . I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly
Great experience with hotel better area would be nicer
The location wasn’t in the best area, if you turned left out of the hotel you ended up in a ‘strip’ of bars and burgers. If you turned right the atmosphere was much nicer. However saying that the hotel was amazing and we felt like we were away from the rest of the area. The room was adequate but I would have preferred a view that didn’t face the pool and the guests on their sinners could look directly in to our room, I will know for next time. The staff from the cleaning to poolside to breakfast staff were all amazing! The hotel is very clean and tidy. I wish we couldn’t hear the music on the street but I guess you can’t have everything Overall the hotel and staff were superb and I would go back as we had a lovely experience
Amazing stay at a gorgeous and unique boutique hotel in the heart of the Algarve
We loved this hotel - the property is stunning with incredible views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The decor added so much to our visit with every detail both modern and reminiscent of the time it was designed and the transition through the years - so much style in each space. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each morning on the gorgeous patio was delicious and the cherry on top was the incredible chefs tasting dinner - a three hour performance with a Michelin rated chef and perfectly trained staff - that was so much more than we even expected! The location of the hotel in the Algarve is perfectly positioned as it makes it very easy to spend a day traveling to the east to beach and cliff hop one day and to the west the next. And we were graced with a cotton candy sunset in the evening! We loved it!

Beautiful hotel and impeccable service
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the service was impeccable. We had a great lunch at Bela Restaurant and it’s an easy walk down to the beach, which was also beautiful. The only negative is the area around d it. Very touristy but if you want bars and clubs and some nightlife, the area is great. Our room was the highlight- one of the prettiest rooms I’ve ever had, anywhere. Junior Suite with gorgeous decor.
