Everything was perfect and one of the most relaxing hotels i stayed in Room with a sea view was just spectacular Room service food was also great I enjoyed everything!
A gem in Praia de Rocha
Just back from a fabulous week holiday in this beautiful hotel. Just to say a few tiny negatives the room we had there was no balcony and faced on to the street this completely our fault we booked through tour operator and only room available at time of making reservation. The room we had was spacious and spotless but quite tired and really could do with a spruce up. The bathroom great but really could be modernised with walk in shower. No matter what age group just feel a shower in the bath is so dangerous, no anti slip bath mat for the bath provided but SOS pull cord which spells caution!!! They are the only negatives, excellent location right on beautiful sandy beach, beside great choice of bars and restaurants. We booked bed and breakfast and had the best breakfast every morning great choice of all sorts and proper orange juice. Lovely poolside and terrace bars incredible staff each and everyone but one in particular Louis in the bar just an absolute gem. We just had the perfect stay and will be back again but next time 10 days!!! Honestly highly recommend this hotel for a totally relaxing holiday

Lovely in parts but needs updating in others
Lovely in parts but tired in others! Good location with lovely views over the beach (which is fantastic). The entrance to the hotel is lovely and has clearly been upgraded. Rooms are very tired with dark furniture and tiles and bathroom needs updating. Nice and clean throughout though and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good but very disorganised with food in different places so lots of people walking around trying to find things. Also poolside bar/cafe even more disorganised and staff need more training as we waited ages for drinks and some didn’t appear at all! This could be a lovely hotel but definitely needs some changes.

Such a wonderful relaxing holiday
Our 4th visit here, the only hotel we have returned back to. I can't tell you how relaxing and health improving this 10 day break was. We paid for a sea view which is the best part for me, I fell asleep listening to the sea and woke up listening to the sea as I never shut the balcony door. The Hotel is spotless 5* clean towels and maid service every day. We booked bed breakfast which was great as we could go out exploring in the daytime. Breakfast there was plenty to choose from, not the normal bacon and sausage but you can order fresh omelette or fried eggs. The smoked salmon was delicious I had it every day with fresh eggs. Plenty of breads cheeses cooked meats cereal fresh fruit. I prefer to take my own coffee/tea and you can ask for a hot pot of water. We walked up to Continente supermarket in Portimão (30 minutes) and jumped an uber back so cheap, beautiful food there for snacks. salads and drinks. You can ask to empty your mini bar and fill with your items. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous lil cafe at the pool with really nice lunches (goes well with a jug of sangria). Great bar near reception sells all kinds of drinks and cocktails, just wonderful having a drink on the balcony here with an amazing view. 5 mins and you are on the beach, golden sands spotless apart from the beautiful shells you can collect. 5 mins there are cafes bars shops everything you need really. Crackin lil tapas bar called Tapas ó Destapas 10 mins down a lil side street you can find on google. If you come out of hotel turn right a wonderful ice cream bar Gelateria Sorbetto and a bit further up a wonderful pizza place La Bruschetta owned by Sicilians, gorgeous coffee too. We went on a boat trip to Silves booked online at getyourguide.com, what a fabulous day out really enjoyed it. Yes the hotel is a lil dated and could do with a refurb but I doubt I would be able to afford it then. No doubt we will be going back again when we need another refresh and recharge. Just book it !!
Do not hesitate to book - this is such an amazing hotel ! My boyfriend and I stayed here for just under a week and our expectations were succeeded by so much.
The location is beyond amazing - literally on the beautiful beach with free concession loungers included and beautiful pool that looks out to the ocean also with free loungers. So a private pool and beach basically it was so nice!
The staff made it - non stop smiles and always helping guests out they were so hard working.
The breakfast off the charts - massive buffet with fresh and tasty foods - kept us going till dinner time 🤣
We haven’t stopped raving about this hotel since we came home, thank you Hotel Algarve Casino.
