This hotel is located in Algarve, directly on the Lagos Marina. Nearby attractions include the Meia Praia Beach, and the Lagos Museum. The hotel is close to the Palmares and Boa Vista Golf courses and the city center of Lagos. The hotel is just a short walk from the historic centre. There is a bus stop as well as countless shopping and entertainment venues within 200 m from the hotel. Faro Airport can be reached within an hour drive. The guest rooms are decorated in modern style with soft tones, equipped with amenities that make guests feel staying at home. Guests can take advantage of taking a sunbath on sun loungers or relax in the outdoor swimming pool. The hotel also offers spa with an extensive massage and other treatments to boast up the body and mind after a long day.

Well Run, Great Stay
We were in the area to attend a sporting event, not here for holiday, so didn’t utilise the pool or other leisure facilities. Our requirement was for comfortable, well located accommodation with on-site parking and the Marina Club ticked these boxes. The in-room kitchenettes were a further draw. It was a great choice for our purposes - the Marina location is nice, there are ample restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the old town, where you’ll find the smarter restaurants, is about 10/15 minutes on foot. The location is also handy if you’re planning a boat trip. The hotel is modern and well kept. Everything works, and it feels like a well run operation. Staff were friendly and on the ball across departments, including house keeping, who did a cracking job. Whilst neither luxurious nor especially stylish, we really enjoyed our one bedroomed suite, mainly because it was so light and airy. Spacious too, with a decent sized bedroom, and generously proportioned living area with balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space and the shower had oomph. The kitchen units were dated and worn, but really well equipped for self caterers. We ate out for all meals, but found the large fridge, kettle, toaster, utensils etc, really useful for making light snacks and drinks. Our colleagues booked a Superior Studio room which was a fair bit smaller than our suite, but still a pleasant, airy environment, with pool facing balcony. But for the relatively small uplift in price, the suite was well worth it in my view. We didn’t take breakfast, but enjoyed the hotels’ bars, both of which overlook the pool. We had dinner at Instinto, one of the restaurants associated with the Marina Club (the other is WA Sushi), and service was superb, food pretty good. Both restaurants have stand alone Marina frontage, and as a consequence feel like entirely separate entities to the hotel, avoiding that ‘hotely’ feel that you often find with in-house dining. We didn’t use the gym, but assume it to be a fairly substantial facility as it opens to non-residents and appeared to have various classes going on. Our early June visit meant there weren’t many children around and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. Overall - impressed and very pleasantly surprised with Marina Club Resort. Good job.

Lovely hotel
Really lovely clean hotel and fabulous location rooms very clean and spacious and everything you need
The perfect holiday hotel
Spent five nights there last week, only wish we could have stayed longer. Great place, lovely spacious room, cleaned daily by a great housekeeping team. Staff at reception and bar all welcoming and friendly. Fifteen minutes to the old town and if you want a change from the pool there are beaches in walking distance. Looking forward to returning.

The staff at reception are excellent & very accommodating, they go over & beyond for all their guests! From recommendations to booking your taxi if required.

Second time here & already looking to come back before Sept! My five year old loves baby pool & its very safe! You can sit and watch the kids on the lovely loungers. Pools cleaned every morning.
Pool bar staff really nice and friendly! Serves all drinks, smoothies, ice pops & hot snacks!
Good location with top class restaurants all around. Glass wine on Marina most places 2.50e/3.00e!
If here, book the tuk tuk, 1.5 hr....brings you around and explains the various architecture, (old town, new town, beach)fits up to 6 people. Collects you at hotel door! My 5yr old loved it. Even stopped for ice pops.
Recommend apts, 1, 2 and 3 bed 4 star! Ask for pool view, also they are massive! Studios are small. Suit a couple only. There are no dishwashers so don't bring washing tablets like what I did first time🤣! Might be in the 3 bed, but ask this when booking.
You won't be disappointed!
P.s. good to use cash instead Card and to have extra cash for tips, they rely on the tourism. Brought my card but used cash mostly.

Perfect base for a week long holiday exploring the Algarve
We booked one of the independent Airbnb apartments which gives access to the main hotel. The apartment was clean and well equipped... three parasols there as well as two airers for drying out swimwear! A roomy balcony area with sun loungers and table and chairs. Space to sit inside and a comfy bed. The location is perfect if you want to be based in Lagos but also have a car and want to explore surrounding places. We had stayed nearby before so knew this was what we wanted. There are several eateries within a 5-10 minute walk and the old town is probably about a 20-25 minute walk. Also only about 10 minutes walk to the train station. We had no problem parking on the road each day and didn't need to use the garage even though we had access to it if we wanted it. The pool is about a 5 minute walk along the marina and is accessed alongside the sushi restaurant. The nearest (really good) supermarket is right behind the apartments and has everything you could want!
