I will definitely be back! The service and our room were impeccable. Be sure to checkout the Turkish bath. It was a lovely surprise.
Good location - needs update to facility and mgmt.
Ants crawling in tile cracks throughout unit. Manager wouldn’t give two add’l bath towels. Paid two euro for two extra and had to have less daily service. Floorboards out in the pool are a tripping hazard. Diego at adult pool is great. Liquor selection is sorely lacking at adult pool Angus burger was delicious. Room service charges 10 euros to deliver to your room!! Beach is a short walk. Water was warmer than the pool - by a noticeable difference Front desk is great at check-in and useless after that - but their hands are tied by mgmt
There is no chair saving at the pool which is helpful and people appear to follow that rule
The bartenders at the main lobby bar do a very good job, as does the staff in the cafeteria at breakfast. The food selection is pretty good - something for everyone.
More than half the controls for the Jacuzzi in the spa, did not work
If you’re thinking of having dinner at the hotel, know that it is a buffet style dinner only. There are two restaurants within a very short walk down to the beach, but after that, if you want to eat anywhere, you need to have a rental car. We’ve been told that Uber is not a very popular option here.

Dated Apartments close to Praia Porto Do Mos
First starting with the name this is neither a Resort nor a spa. Belmar offers roomy apartments, some with better views than others, close to a very popular beach. Great for families and multiple couples looking for reasonably priced accommodations near the beach. We were put in an apartment in the rump end of the property, far from the pools and spa and close to the busy road leading to the beach. As you can see from the photos the carpet is the hallways were stained, and old shag rugs adorned the apartment. The gym was dated with equipment from a decade gone bye (see pic of exercise bike from the 80s). The view from our terrace was non existent to the point of spending any time on it was not in the cards (see pic). The wait staff in the restaurant were the highlight of our stay and shout out to Jose and Rodrigo who provided excellent service during our stay. The beach towel policy at the hotel was annoying to say the least. Each guest was entitled to one beach towel per towel strictly enforced with towel cards and signature requirements with the gym attendants. the indoor and adult pools require passage through a labyrinth of hallways and the locker room. I finally had it figured out after our weeks stay. Want coffee in the morning? you have to use the self-serve machine at the breakfast buffett otherwise pay extra for a proper cup made properly.

Super location close to the ocean, amazing resort area, great apartment, fantastic breakfast, very good restaurant. Friendly staff. Great vacation 👍 We will come back 🥰

Great resort. Very good staff. Clean room with huge comfy bed. Pool lovely with good shade and fab juice/ drinks bar. Campinar restaurant on beach really good too. We had a fab stay and would like to return.
