We stay at Belmar Resort for many year and love the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent location near the beach.
Relaxing at Belmar Spa and Beach Resort
The resort location is conveniently located near the beach and bus stop. The grounds and public areas are well kept though not all facilities were open during our stay. The atmosphere was quiet but active and staff attentive. There is no supermarket in the resort or nearby. There is a good choice of pools though the indoor pool felt too hot.

Great location for Algarve
Fantastic location with a quick walk to the beach, hiking along the cliffs and a long walk or quick drive into fun Lagos center. It’s hard to review because while some things were quite nice like the pool and location and it’s a good choice comparatively there were some things that were not 4 star. We had a 3 room apartment which was spacious but stark with sub par toiletries, a hand shower that would spray everywhere unless you held it, an uncomfortable mattress and sheer blinds in the bedrooms that didn’t block the light and a weird thumping noise. Overall we had a wonderful visit. It is a magical area.

Fantastic Stay at Belmar Lodge and Spa – Lagos
We had a fantastic experience at Belmar Lodge and Spa. The hotel and facilities are beautiful, and the staff were lovely and friendly throughout our stay. The food was great, and the location is ideal — right next to a gorgeous beach with a lovely cliff walk close by.
The pool and gym were fantastic too, perfect for relaxing between exploring. A wonderful hotel in a great setting — highly recommend to anyone visiting Lagos!
