Exceptional Service, Beautiful Hotel & Great Value
We received a last minute email before our arrival informing us that the rooftop pool would be closed, so naturally we were a little disappointed. However, from the moment we arrived, the staff completely turned that around. They couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly, or helpful.
One of the highlights was the complimentary private boat transfer to the beach, which was a lovely experience. The team also kindly made some changes to our booking free of charge, which was really appreciated.
Our only slight disappointment was that our room didn’t have a balcony, as it would have been lovely to sit outside in the evenings. That said, we made good use of the rooftop terrace instead. The room itself was spotlessly clean, exactly as expected, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
The only minor negatives were having to wear a swimming cap in the indoor pool and paying a cash deposit for the pool towels, which seemed a little unnecessary.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, although if you choose to sit on the balcony, keep an eye on your food a seagull nearly stole my breakfast while I went to get a drink! We found the evening meal a little limited as we’re quite fussy eaters, but once again the restaurant staff were fantastic and happily offered us an alternative menu.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. I’ll admit I’m usually very picky when it comes to hotels, but this one was as close to perfect as you can get. The location, decor, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service were all outstanding. I honestly don’t recognise some of the negative reviews, as our experience was one of the best we’ve had. We also felt we got excellent value for the price we paid.
We are already looking forward to staying again in the near future.
Roof top pool. NOT OPEN
The roof top pool is closed. A holiday disaster for us. No mention of this by the hotel Very very poor.
If visting Faro - this is the place to go!!!
This is the place to stay when in Faro, beautiful hotrl We had bed and breakfast and expected a continentsl breakfast but was surprised and rhe high quality hot offrtings - sausages bavon, egg, etc. My wife was actually given a glower before sje sau at the table - AND, a pianist on the grand Yamaha pisno was outstanding at breakfast. Cant rate this highly enough.
Disgusting
Absolutely disgusting do not stay there the staff are rude the room smells like sewage they do not care about you as a guest. They shut the rooftop pool outside and suggest you use the indoor pool. I would stay in the uk for that. Please do not book this awful hotel
A nice stay at Faro
The location, marine views, and friendly staff were my favorite features. The pianist at breakfast was also wonderful, he could play so many Chinese songs and melodies, such as 梁祝 and 茉莉花 etc, which made my day every morning. However, the breakfast variety needs improvement. I stayed six days, and the exact same breakfast every day became a bit boring. The room's soundproofing wasn't very good; I could clearly hear the noise from the guests upstairs. Also, the rooms and facilities are dated.
