Not as good as it should be
A few things not quite right, bearing in mind the cost of this hotel. Didn’t replenish coffee pods or tea bags on day 2. We started with two bath robes but one was taken away on day two. Paying a deposit at reception for towels to use in the spa pool seemed unnecessary. Why not pick up and drop at the pool? €5 for an obligatory bathing hat - bring your own or use the shower cap. The rooftop pool used to be a real attraction but it is not in use. The breakfasts are still excellent.

What I liked about this hotel
Location- near the marina and very close to bus and train station.
Ruben was very helpful at reception.
Rooms- very clean, comfortable beds. Even though my room was facing the main road, I didn't hear much noise.
Boat trip to the beach- free! What a service!
Breakfast- was given a basket of gluten free bread- croissants, rolls and a small pastry.
Buffet - lots to choose from. Would have liked a gluten free dessert that wasn't fruit. Good value at 21 euro. Loved the selection of sea food. Allergens clearly marked. This was important to me as a Coeliac.
Would I stay here again- Absolutely!
Perfect Location
We got home a week ago after a two week stay at this hotel. On arrival at a 4 star hotel, it’s unusual not to be offered a welcome drink of some kind, but unfortunately, that didn’t materialise. We found the location perfect and with a marina view room, it was ideal. The room itself was very basic and it and the bathroom are very small indeed. I am a wheelchair user and whilst we managed, it was a tight squeeze. It was very clean though and had everything we needed. Our balcony had a fabulous view over the marina and we spent quite a lot of time sitting out there with a glass of wine watching the world go by. It’s a shame that the rooftop pool is closed, but the building noise we had been warned about did not bother us in the least. Housekeeping was generally very good, but our room was missed on a few occasions. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of hot and cold food. I would agree with some other reviews though, that the hot food was often cold. I’m sorry, but we weren’t fans of the piano player and your piano needs to be tuned! We would return, however we do question value for money.
An excellent place to stay.
Very comfortable rooms and a balcony, friendly staff who really gave the impression they cared about our comfort. And well placed for walks to other bars and restaurants in Faro. And all with an outstanding view of the harbour and beyond.
Reception is a nightmare
The good - best breakfast. The bad and the ugly - Reception. Busy, slow and filled with people that are clearly dis-interested and poorly trained. I’ve never seen a Leader at this Hotel. When it expands it’s not going to go well unless they recruit better Leadership.
