I would give zero if I could. We had a security issue in our room that left me feeling very unsafe. One of the managers (MALE) and the 3 workmen concerned thought my distress very funny. Intimate things were rummaged through and some taken. They closed ranks like a proper old boys club. The MALE policeman included. Don’t think your room is locked and safe when you’re out. The do not disturb sign means nothing.
Excellent resort
We stayed as a family of 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment and we had plenty of space. The resort is lovely despite some negative reviews, all staff members have been so welcoming and polite. We had Spa treatments and they were amazing and again the staff were incredible. We only ate in the restaurant once but that was due to being self catering and we like to try different places but the food was nice and service was excellent. The pool has plenty of sun beds and although some people reserve sun beds even though signs say you’re not allowed! The pool boy will remove towels if you have no sun bed. The pool is big and yes it is cold but in this heat it is what you want. We had a car but Ubers are cheap as things are not in walking distance but that is what provides the peace and quiet. It is our last night and I honestly cannot fault this resort we had the best time.
Superb - and Filipe is extra superb
Atmosphere is very nice, room cleaners do an excellent job and the facilities are great. One thing I would like to address in particular is the waiter in the dining room, Filipe has been excellent all 10 days, very polite and full of personality and made it all the more when it comes to feeling welcoming and let us grow a connection with him. Excellent waiter and even more a excellent person.
Good, and could be even better
On the whole a lovely hotel with friendly staff. The location is remote so you'll need a car or make use of an Uber.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast, and we appreciated the breakfast box on our last day as we left before the restaurant opened.
The pool area is in need of a refurb', although this didn't spoil our stay it would stop me from returning if this isn't addressed. I would also recommend a member of staff show you where your room is as it's a little complicated. It would also enhance the level of customer service.

First Class
Apartment was lovely, clean and very spacious. Our fridge freezer was initially not working but maintenance attended within 15 minutes to fix issue. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection and pool/pool bar were excellent, although the water in the pool was a tad cold….. A good initiative to offer €5 voucher that you can use at pool bar, for every day you chose not to use the maid service which was also really good btw. It's a £5 uber ride to carvoeiro and £10 to Silves, if you don't hire a car and these are plentiful. All in all really impressed with the resort and will definitely come again. Only slight negative was the WiFi in the apartment was intermittent.
