Tucked into a cliffside overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean, the hotel is a jewel in the Algarve's crown. This resort is a 10-minute walk from the beach, and guests can explore more of this stunning stretch of coastline on the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. It is 54 km from Faro International Airport and public transport is available just a few steps from the hotel.
Visitors will be spoilt for choice by the bars and restaurants and experience fine drinks and authentic local cuisine in one of the restaurants, with freshly caught seafood a menu highlight.
Whether guests want to pamper theirself with an organic seaweed treatment in the spa, invigorate theirself in the pool, dive beneath the ocean or organise a game of golf, the hotel's incredible facilities and staff will make theirself stay a memorable one.
The hotel has several spacious rooms on different floors, with most offering a balcony or terrace to experience the spectacular views. Decorated in elegant colors to represent the sea, the rooms are equipped with modern amenities including an electronic safe, video on demand, a Nespresso coffee machine, tea facilities and complementary WiFi, to ensure a home experience stay.
This is our second time to visit this hotel. It is in a beautiful location. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is good. Unfortunately we have been very disappointed with the standard of lunch meals in the pool restaurant. The price is high and the quality is poor.
This was our third time staying at this hotel, which says a lot about how much we enjoy coming here. The kids’ club is one of the highlights and our children absolutely loved it again this year.
A special mention has to go to Sayuvy in the kids’ club. She is absolutely fantastic with the children—so kind, patient and engaging. She made fabulous T-shirts with them and her face painting was amazing. Our kids looked forward to seeing her every day!
The only disappointment this year was the lunch, which wasn’t to the same standard as on our previous visits. Hopefully that’s something the hotel can improve.
Overall, we would still highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. The wonderful staff and excellent kids’ club make it a great place for a family holiday
Absolutely LOVED my massage with Catia in the spa at Tivoli Carvoeiro. A truly relaxing and healing experience for the whole body and mind - wonderful 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wonderful kids club. My daughter had dace painting with Sayuri and loved it!!
A great experience at the Tivoli. We have been coming here for over 25 years and it improves every time. There has been ongoing investment in the hotel and obvious care and consideration by owners and managers to make a great holiday.
A highlight are the staff- they completely understand service, and a lot of them have been there for a while so they care about the hotel
Check in is welcoming with helpful door men and plentiful staff who take time to explain the facilities You do need a sea view room to make the most of the location. I would say rooms are well equipped, well maintained and function as they should but they could do with a little more storage space- there is room.
The main bar which is really for residents has great views, good service and an excellent range of drinks.
The SkyBar (rooftop) is fun and a great place to go for pre-dinner drinks but unfortuately suffers from people popping in taking a photograph, blocking your view and then disappearing without buying a drink. Staff are great, cheerful and prompt with service
The fine dining retaurant is outstanding and reasonably priced for what it is- top quality food on the terrace watching the sun go down is great
The poolside retaurant hhas great food and service at reasonable prices and the service to the sunlounger for drinks is excellent
Topping all of this off is the free TukTuk service down to the village or to the beach
